Untitled Part 2

Chapter 2:

I woke up the next day and got myself dressed for the day on the road. I packed up my last minute things and packed up my last few bags in my car. I notice it was 6 am so I walk out and see Taylor and Rachel in the kitchen. "Getting ready to head out?" Rachel asked.

"Yeah I'm leaving in a few minutes. Early practice Taylor?"

"Yeah, and I wanted to see you off."

"Thank you, I'm going to head out and stop at Starbucks before I hit the road." I head for the door with Taylor and Rachel following me. "I'm going to miss you both so much. You'll have to visit."

I hug Rachel first "We for sure will and I will make sure to come with Taylor when he plays Dallas."

I then hug Taylor and he hugs me back even tighter "I already miss you Sydney, call me when you stop tonight please, and before you leave in the morning, and when you arrive tomorrow-"

"I will Taylor, I promise."

"Love you Syd, tell me if those Dallas boys are bad to you, so when we play them next I can kick their asses."

"Love you Taylor." I laugh and hug them one last time before getting into my car and heading off to my new home.

I arrive in Dallas and admire my new settings. I stop when I get off the highway and admire the beautiful new city. I arrive about 2pm on the 21st, luckily I had showered at the hotel the morning before I left and got somewhat dressed, in black leggings and an oversized baby blue sweater. I park my car next to a black Ferrari, grey hummer and a Maserati and look at the beautiful home that I was going to be staying in until I got on my feet.

I walk up to the front door and knock. I then hear 2 dogs barking and someone telling them to go sit before opening the door. My jaw drops when I see it's Jamie Benn, captain of the Dallas Stars.

"Hi I'm Sydney Hall, they emailed me that this was where I was staying, at least until I found somewhere of my own."

"Hey yeah, Monty said someone was coming to stay here with us. I'm Jamie, you're the new member of the training team right?"

"Intern for now, hopefully permanent after the 16 weeks is up." I explain, then one of the dogs, the brown one, jumps up to me.

"Marshall no, get down! Sit." Jamie tells the dog, who immediately listens and sits by Jamie's feet next to the brown one. "Sorry! They are Tyler's dogs. This one is Marshall" Pointing to the black one that jumped at me "And this one is Cash, the chill one" He said pointing to the brown one.

"Oh it's fine, I love dogs." I say, bending down and playing with Marshall. As I am petting him I hear someone coming down the stairs and when I look up I see Tyler Seguin standing at the end of the stairs. God he is even hotter in person...

"Hey Tyler, this is Sydney. The new trainer Monty was telling us about that's staying with us for a while." Jamie introduced us.

I stand up from Marshall "Hi, it's great to meet you both. I truly believe you are the dynamic duo of the NHL. Every team knows their in trouble if your on the ice together."

"Thanks, nice to meet you too. I'll be back soon," He says to Jamie "See you later." He says to me before petting Cash and Marshall and heading out the door.

"Sorry about him, but he was nicer then usual." Jamie laughed. "Just kidding, Tyler's awesome. Come on I'll show you around." He says. The house is beautiful
