You knock on the door of Marvin's house to see his mother welcome you and Marvin with open arms. She asks you why you are both covered in dirt and immediately rushes you inside to wrap the two of you in blankets.
You decide to tell his mother the truth: after all, Marvin could've very easily died in that power plant. Telling her the truth was the least you could do.
Marvin's angry at you for telling his mother the truth, but you know deep down that this is what's best for him. After demonstrating your abilities, Marvin's mum believes you and warns Marvin to stay out of any superhero business.
Great, you've gotten your best friend grounded, but you know that you are only doing this to protect him.
You can't trust anyone else, but you need to plan the destruction of all evil forces once and for all.
