One of Yondu's men entered the room and called for them to explain their big plan. Peter took a deep breath and motioned them to follow him. They enter a large room with screens set up in a middle. Gamora steps into the circle and pulls up a picture for the infinity stone inside the orb that Ronan now has.
Gamora- That's what's inside the orb. It's called an infinity stone. The stone reacts to anything organic.
Rena- Including us.
Peter steps next to her and nods with a serious expression.
Quill- All Ronan's gotta do is touch the stone to the planet's surface and zap. All plants , animals , Nova Corps.
Gamora- Everything will die.
Quill- ( Steps forward ) So Ronan does not make the surface. Rocket will lead a team to blow a hole in the Dark Aster's starboard hull. Then our craft and Yondu's will enter.
Drax- I think of Sakaaran as paper people.
Kraglin grins at him and gives him a friendly punch in the shoulder. Didn't understand the gesture , gives him a death glare.
Rena- It means he likes your comment , Drax.
Drax looks and nods before he backs off.
Gamora- Once they know we're on board , Ronan will isolate himself behind impenetrable security doors on deck . Which I can disable by dismantling the power source.
The members pass out a type of device that looked like the orb.
Gamora- Once it's dead , we will retrieve the stone.
Quill- I'll contact one of the Nova officers who arrested us . Hopefully , they'll believe we're here to help.
Rocket- There's one more thing to complete the plan ( Points at a guy ) That guy's eye .
Rena scoffs and began laughing at his antics.
Quill- No ! No ! We don't need that guy's eye.
Rocket- ( Smiles) No ! Seriously ! I need it ! It's important to me !
~Time Skip~
Rena put on a red beret and a black leather sleeveless vest with her black belt and thigh holster and exits the room to see Rocket , holding his big gun over his shoulder, walking by but he stopped when he saw her exiting the room.
Rocket- There you are. Come om. Peter's got the Milano already.
Rena- ( shrugs ) Don't need to wait anymore. I'm done anyways.
Rena walks past the raccoon but he quickly grabs onto her wrist , stopping her in her tracks as she turns around and looks at him.
Rena- Hm ? What is it , Rocket ?
Rocket's expression was fond and loving as he looks her in the eyes.
Rocket- I just wanna say, in case if one of us doesn't make it alive... I love you.
Rena's blue eyes widened at the three last words.
Rena- You... Love me ?
Rocket- I do. Even if we just met , I fell in love with you. I love you , Rena Fox.
Rena ardently smiles back at him .
Rena- I love you too , Rocket Raccoon.
