Caroline is laughing at Drew and Drew is just standing there waiting for her laughter to die down. Drew explained her fear of old people, it wasn't her fault that after the age of seventy people start to have weird scary voices, awkwardly bent fingers, weirdly soft stretchy skin and sometimes no teeth or hunched backs.

Caroline is laughing because she's never heard of this, but what gets her most is that the fearless Drew Shepherd is terrified of old people more than she is of a loaded gun pointed at her forehead.

"So let me get this straight," Caroline chuckles and wipes her eyes, "you don't want to go to Mrs Porter's house because you're afraid of her?"

Drew groans and covers the blush that takes over her face, "I wouldn't use the word afraid, I'd say something more along the lines of creeped out, or uncomfortable maybe,"

Caroline shakes her head with an amused smile and a laugh still in her eyes, "Drew, I promised I'd bring you over, it'd be rude not show up now," Caroline says hardly holding in a laugh.

Drew shakes her head, "Caroline I'm shaking just thinking about that old lady. I thought Mrs Porter was a nosy housewife, not a nosy old lady,"

Caroline let's out a laugh at the comment, she can't help but feel slightly horrible for putting Drew in this position, but then again if she knew she would never have put her in this position.

"I promise I'll keep her away from you,"

Drew nods, she's now in white shorts that have been rolled twice to sit just above her knees, an orange floral shirt she bought in Huawei, and white vans with no laces.

Caroline is in a pale yellow sundress and white sandals, she let her hair down and for the first time Drew noticed how long her hair was, it almost reached her behind. Drew can't help but stare at Caroline, she looks beautiful.

"Caroline?" Drew calls as she locks the door behind her.

"Yes?" Caroline turns and holds Drew's hand as they walk.

Drew is startled by the contact and unusual show of affection, she's not used to subtle or innocent displays of affection. Drew shifts and her hand freezes making Caroline let go in an attempt not to make Drew uncomfortable.

"No!" Drew grabs Caroline's hand and shakes her head, "I want to, it's just a little bit weird for me; that's all,"

Caroline grins and pecks Drew's cheek softly, "I didn't know," she says giggling, "what did you want to ask?"

"Can I call you Joel?"

Caroline frowns, "why?"

"I know I'm not allowed to call you by your name but I feel awkward calling you Caroline,"

Caroline smiles, "only when we're alone,"

"Of course," Drew smiles. She leans down and kisses Caroline's forehead softly, Caroline smiles and lifts her hand along with Drew's and kisses the back of Drew's hand softly.

They get to Mrs Porter's front door and Caroline knocks. She suddenly remembers Mr Porter. "Drew, Mrs Porter is not a widow,"

Drew's eyes widen, "there's two of them?" Drew feels her blood run cold in her veins, she had forgotten she was going to be visiting an old person, she starts shaking and Caroline feels it, "I can't..."

Caroline pulls Drew back preventing her from leaving, "calm down Drew,"

"Okay, but don't I get an undercover name or something?"

"What about..."

Mrs Porter opens the door with a huge grin on her face putting Drew off completely and making her swallow.
