Alaric deserved someone by his side at the end of TVD. He loved Isobel, but she turned out to be crazy and killed herself. He loved Jenna, but Klaus killed her. He was dating Meredith, but she left him after he temporarily died. He was loved Jo, but she was brutally murdered by her twin, along with their children, on their wedding day. He loved Caroline, but she left him for her ex boyfriend. He also could have had a potential relationship with Georgie, but she was murdered by the babysitter of his children. 🤦♀️
