I will admit that some aspects of math you should learn, like adding (money specifically;)) and subtracting. You'll need to know those if you don't want to be homeless. But learning how to divide radicals. Really. When are we going to use that???? No person who works at the cash register ever says, "You're total is radical 2 plus 7 over radical 8 - 9! Have a nice day!" If someone like that actually exists, call me doctor and direct me to the patient so I can help the poor fellow. If he's saying that in public and of his own will, he must need help.
