Blazekit opened his eyes. He yawned. He looked around the nursery. He saw four tiny shapes next to his mother. The yellow one looked up. Soon four different heads were looking at him. The grey one said to Flowersplash, "Mommy! Blazekit opened his eyes." Flowersplash looked up. "Wonderful!" She purred. Blazekit looked at his littermates. Primrosekit stood up. "We are going outside." She commanded. Blazekit wasn't listening. He wandered outside. "Blazekit!" Primrosekit growled, annoyed that he wasn't listening. Sunkit was stalking Primrosekit. She pounced. Sunkit landed on her tail. Primrosekit spun around and bowled her over. Blazekit saw the patrol come back with prey. "I'll be like that." He whispered. "Very soon."
