As he took in the view from the twentieth floor, the lights went out all over the city. He wondered where she was.
Five years. He didn't see her in five years. He had to do it. To protect her. But instead he hurted her. He's always doing that. He apologises to her and she forgives him. He promisesd to never hurt her again. He does that again. She gots frustrated and leaves. She says it's forever. She comes back. It's a cycle.
This time she really left. He wanted to find her, says he's sorry. And...
"Professor? Is that you?"
He turned around.
"Professor, it's really you."she hugged him. "I misses you."
The things will be diferent this time, he thought. And, it was true.
