SOMETHING MISSING

13 2 1

Something missing,
Barely Breathing.
I was the one who tripped,
Cannot help feeling as if my heart was ripped.
For the thought of love it yearned,
You think I would have learned.
Blank faces,
Just a few more paces.
Maybe if I mask the blow,
It won't effect the status-quo.
Is this what life comes to?
If only I knew.
Hope is nowhere to be found,
Cannot pick myself from the ground.
Where is God's plan?
Where is this so called lamb?
Comfortable masking,
Something coming.
Jumbled foulmouthed quarrels,
No apparent morals,
But wait, what is that I see?
Standing right in front of me?
The Son so bright,
Shall I go into the light?
Better than cowering in the darkness,
Question is, do I really want this?
Taking down my walls,
My name he now calls,
I am safe from all harms,
And he embraces me in him arms.
Nothing missing,
Calm breathing.
