Chirping was all that filled your head as the birds outside Jennie's bedroom window mocked you

Eyes barely open, you grabbed aimlessly for your phone on the bedside table, eventually coming into contact with the hard object

As you raised the screen to your face the bright white of your lock screen burned into your tired eyes

You winced whilst pulling the phone further back to give yourself chance to adjust

As your gaze on the phone unblurred you took note of the time...7:30am!

Are you joking?!

Rolling your eyes in the direction of the birds who had ruined your peaceful lie in, you sat up in the bed

A small groan was heard beside you causing you to flick your head in that direction as you laid eyes upon a newly awoken Lisa

Both locking eyes briefly, you noted the lack of sleep you both shared

Jennie was still asleep on the other side of the room so you and Lisa sat quietly on your phones allowing yourselves to wake up fully

After around 15 minutes Jennie finally stirred from her sleep to see you and Lisa both sitting on the bed

"I'm sooo tireddd" Jennie mumbled as she rubbed her fists into her eyes

"Tell me about it" you added sounding slightly more awake then Jennie

Jennie picked up her phone by her pillow proceeding to catch up on anything she'd missed

As you can tell...none of you are morning people

As you all sat in silence, wrapped up in your own worlds, an almighty noise rumbled next to you

You spun your head towards the noise only to see a red Lisa holding her arms over her stomach

"I think that's my cue for breakfast" she giggles

"Lets feed her before the animal she's got locked up in her stomach escapes" you cried out in a fake panic

Earning yourself a smack on the arm from Lisa as Jennie sat in the corner of the room laughing away to herself

"Food it is then" Jennie stated cheerfully

Lisa hopped off the bed with her newfound energy and squealed like a child as she ran down the stairs

Following behind the hungry girl, at a much slower pace, you dragged your feet into the kitchen dropping down on a stool

Lisa was grabbing anything and everything she could get her hands on

You decided on a simple breakfast consisting of...toast...that's it

Jennie made you all coffee as you also buttered her some toast, the pair of you not being quite as desperate for food as Lisa

All of you took your seats at the island in the middle of the room and began to dig in

Calm conversation floated around the kitchen

Taking your last bite of toast you placed the plate into the sink so you could clean it after you had finished your coffee

As you spoke to Lisa about some impossible work you had both got from the one class you shared at university you saw Jennie's phone light up on the table

You continued to talk while she checked her phone

After having briefly ranted about the work with Lisa you saw Jennie waiting to speak
