"Aah" Wooyoung exclaimed, slamming the shot glass on the table. "That one was a little weak. Give me something stronger" Wooyoung said, signalling you to give him more liquor. You and Wooyoung had been drinking together for the past 2 hours. The reason why? Wooyoung has been stressed because his Girlfriend recently broke up with him. He was trying to drink away his problems, knowing that it probably wouldn't work anyway. "Yah, you've had enough" you told him yanking away the dark liquor he was about to pour in his glass.
He hissed at you but you hissed back.
"Wooyoung you need to get over that girl. She's just a good for nothing. And she cheated on you" you scoff while saying that. Thinking about how that girl hurt your best friend angered you. You and Wooyoung have been best friends since middle school, now you're both in your first years of college. "If you wont get over her by yourself....I'll help you Lilwoo" you told him, filling your shot glass to the brim with the Dark liquor. "H-how (y/n)? How can you help me? You've never even had a boy friend before,so how could you even understand" he said slightly slurring though his words. You were a little offended at the fact that he assumed you've never had a boyfriend before, but you got past that.
"I'll help you forget her Wooyoung. And whether I've dated or not is none of your business"
"Okay well how?"
"........Date me. That's the only way I can think to help you" You told him pouring his glass to the brim as well. He sat there in silence while you gulp down your shot. Your eyes averted to his eyes that were staring at you in amazement.
"How can you say that with such a straight face? Are you crazy? How could we even date" he said running his fingers through his hair. You didn't respond to that question- In fact, you couldn't respond without giving away the fact that you liked him. Ever since you two met that day at the park. The both of you got into a fight- a physical one at that- over a stuffed toy. You don't know how, but after that fight, you bonded like brother and sister. So it would be a little weird of you to tell him that you did like him.
"I mean- well- Look, I don't really mean anything by it, it's just the only thing I can think of" you said stumbling and fumbling through your words, thinking of an excuse. You Both look at each other for a moment and your face turns pure red, from the alcohol and from him just looking at you with those soft, brown eyes.
"(y/n) You're like a sister to me. I don't think I can date you"
"Wooyoung, I told you, It's fake. I want to help you out in anyway possible" You tell him convincingly.
Would it work though? Would he consider dating you just to forget about his ex? Of course there runs the risk of you falling for him harder than you already have before, but for Wooyoung, you were willing to risk anything to help him get over that idiot girl. And you knew there was no possible way that he would even gain those types of feelings for you. So you thought it would be safe enough to try.
"(y/n)....." He started. "Let's do it then. I mean, as long as we don't mean anything, what's the harm in trying?" he finished.
You felt happy inside, but also sad because you know none of it would be real. "Okay then. I guess we're officially a couple now. Oppa~"
"Okay that's what we're not gonna do. No-no oppa stuff you know I dont like it" he said chuckling , then downing the drink you previously poured. Oh my god, that chuckle was the hottest thing you've ever heard in your life. It made you smile a little more too.
"Fine.....Oppa~" you said chuckling.
You both laughed the rest of the night making jokes about each other. It was really just how you acted with each other before, only, you were now dating.
Hi hi! I had fun writing this soooooo much because wooyoung is my baby. I love him so so much.
Anyway, i was thinking of doing like a part two to this to show what it would be like dating him. So should I? lol i probably will anyway. But i hope you enjoyed this chapter because i sure did!
