hey guys! above is the final product we'll be working towards in this tutorial. all of the resources i used will be at the bottom of the page, along with the fonts!

let's get started.

the first thing you'll want to do is find a base image that fits the theme of your cover. make sure it isn't a person/character; or rather, make it an object or piece of nature. i just chose some greek pillars.

go onto picsart and create a new edit ( purple/pink + button ). scroll down until you see "color backgrounds" and select the plain white one. at the bottom of the screen, you'll see a tools button. click that and select crop. make the dimensions 512 x 800, the standard wattpad cover size.

after you apply that, press "add photo" and select your base image

after that, take your texture/blend and add that onto the photo

after that, take your texture/blend and add that onto the photo. while in the editor, scroll over and hit "blend". different selections will pop up. tap "lighten". it helps best to blend the two images.
