Once upon a time in a land far far away from the evil and wicked world you live today was a tiny town called WallowRidge. WallowRidge is a town that is buried deep into the woods, surrounded by trees and open land, the population of WallowRidge was about 100,000 people max so you can imagine how hard it is to keep a secret because trust me word travels fast in this town. But before we get to dirty little secrets I'd like to introduce myself, I am Danni Rose, I am 15 yrs old and the youngest of 6 children (My dad never really got the hang of using a condom).
My older twin brothers Jaylen and Jacobi are 16 yrs old, my sister Evelyn is 17 yrs old and the eldest is my brother Elias 18 yrs old. From the time we were born to now we were always taught that being different was never a good thing and that if you don't let anyone into your heart there's no way it can be broken. My father stresses that last one a lot ever since my mom left my father after I was born, she ended up falling in love with our neighbor and ran away with him and leaving my father alone with 6 children to feed with a job as a janitor at my school that only pays minimum wage.
My eldest brother has asked my father numerous times if he can get a job to help around the house but it always ends up in a screaming match, he doesn't want us to get jobs because he just wants us to focus on school and being a kid, he lies and says he has everything under control and we're gonna be fine but we can tell how stressed and tired he is, most nights there isn't enough food for all of us to eat dinner so he just goes to bed hungry and he's to weak to wake up for work the next morning. My dad has so much going on that my issues are better off being kept hidden, all of our secrets really but telling our father is not a choice so the only choice is to live in the dark.
