Trick or Treat; Halloween edition

Paukena's Point of View
This year I was stuck at home handing out candy. It was another year without Martinus. Martinus and I only see each other a few times a year, when I visit my family in Norway, and when he visits his in Canada. This year however, we'd only seen each other once since I hadn't gone to Norway.

So many kids and teenagers had come to my house, all wearing makeup, costumes, some even had masks on. I made a reaction to all of them to make the kids laugh.

Eventually the flow of kids slowed down and eventually they stopped coming. Well, I had thought. I was putting everything away when the doorbell rung. I grabbed a candy and brought it to the door. It was dark, but I could have sworn that they looked like Martinus.

"Trick or treat," he grinned. It was Martinus.
"Oh my god," I whispered and felt a tear of joy roll down my cheek. He smiled and hugged me.
"How do you like my costume?"
"What are you?"
"I'm your boyfriend," he smiled, "I love you Paukena."
"I love you too."
