Cyan feels terrible for putting the Selected through the attack even if he wasn't really responsible for it. To make up for it he decided to get out of the Palace for the next round of Dates.
It was exactly one week after the Attack. The Selected are more or less healed. The Curatio Doctors have cleared them all more or less for travel.

Cyan had decided to take each of the Selected on an overnight stay to his family's lakehouse for dinner on the dock, boating, and sitting around the fireplace, all surrounded by tranquil nature.

They would be sleeping over but of course the Selected get their own bedroom to sleep in.
In the morning they will enjoy a breakfast, and a hike through the woods before embarking back to the Palace and their busy lives.
