Bellamy:

He was first down the steps.

The sound of Clarke's screaming had transformed his running to a sprint, but it was when the screaming stopped, that he really started to panic.

The grounders pretty much ran as soon as they arrived.

Bellamy sped passed all of them, leaving Lincoln to take care of them.

Bellamy was focused entirely on the small body in the corner of the cell.

'Clarke'

He fell to his knees at her side and immediately started removing the chains.

'Hey, hey stay with me' he said, pulling her to him.

She looked up at him without really seeing anything. Her eyes were glazed over and she was wheezing. There was blood everywhere. Half of her face was stained red and there was fresh blood trickling down her chin and neck.

'Hey, hey I'm here. Aris too. We're gonna get you out okay?'

'Bellamy we have to go. They'll warn the commander that we are here.' Lincoln said.

Bellamy didn't need to be told twice. He pulled her close, and placed her limp arm around his neck before lifting her ever so carefully.

Her head fell against his chest like dead weight and she felt broken in his arms.

They followed Lincoln out of the dungeon and away from Polis.

By some miracle, they made it back to the rover.

Aris took the wheel again, driving off once Bellamy was safely in the back with Clarke.

Bellamy was shaking all over, holding Clarke as close as possible. She was as still as stone in his grasp.

'How is she?' Aris asked, glancing at them worriedly in the mirror.

'She's ice cold' Bellamy had his lips pressed against her head and he was trying to breathe some warmth and life back into her.

'Here' Lincoln passed a blanket to him and Bellamy wrapped it around her shoulders. Blood spots soon began appearing on it but Bellamy tried to pretend they weren't there.

'You're gonna be fine' he whispered, 'you hear me princess? I am not about to let you die. There's no chance'

He felt her grip onto his shirt, her weak fingers clinging to the fabric as if she was afraid she might float away.

Bellamy felt scolding hot tears spill from his eyes as a small wave of relief washed over him. She was hanging on, and so was he.

....

All the delinquents were up and waiting for them when they returned to camp.

Octavia was there, with Harper and Monty. She ran over to them as they jumped out of the car.

'Oh my god, Clarke!'

'She'll be fine, I promise' Lincoln said, putting a hand on Octavia's back. She quickly composed herself and they went on ahead to get the dropship ready.

Aris had helped Bellamy out of the rover and they were carrying Clarke between them.

They set her down on the table and Bellamy took a step back. The whole world seemed to whir around him, black spots dancing accross his vision.

And somehow, he found himself outside with the others, only Lincoln and Aris in the dropship.

'Hey? Bell.'
