Sighing, I made my way towards my car as the sunshine burned my eyes.

God, I can't wait to go back inside.

I looked at the rearview mirror, I looked horrendous. My hair was in a messy bun, with locks peeking out. I had absolutely no make-up on, showing the black circles under my eyes and the redness on my nose.

But I couldn't care less, all I wanted to do was fix the hole in my shoe at the shoe fixer my best friend, Hanna, recommended.

I was, by now, standing in front of his shop.

The logo said, I rolled my eyes and got my shoes from the passenger seat, slamming the door behind me.

I walked in and the smell slightly disturbed me but I didn't mind.

There, sitting on a chair smiling at me, was a guy with olive skin, deep hazel eyes that were decorated with beautiful eyelashes and a neat quiff, who looked way too young to be a shoe fixer.

I couldn't get my lips to curve into a smile like he does, and I didn't bother to try again.

I put the shoes on the table, hoping that I wouldn't have to talk.

I pointed towards the hole in the shoe and he exhaled sharply and said,

"I can fix the hole in you."
