Amelia's POV
Me and Bellamy were out teaching people to throw knife's for hunting Murphy was up but kept missing "That dam kid is messing with my head" he grunted as the ax once again missed
"Don't use him to cover up your terrible ax skills" I said
"he's not gonna last much longer better think of a new excuse" Bellamy said I shot him a glare to which he smiled and put his arm on my shoulders
"Can I go we both know I can do this" I said with a pout "Doubt it" Murphy scoffed I went up grabbed the knifes and buried them all in a line in the trunk "You were saying ??" I asked
"what were you even locked up for" Murphy asked scowling, i shrugged "Breaking Finn and Octavia out of prison and hacking files" I said
"Are you good at everything" atom asked, I nodded "Yep pretty much anyway I'm gonna check on jasper"
"Please say she's not going hunting" Murphy said incredulously "She is but your not" Bellamy replied I winked at Murphy and walked to the drop ship

Bellamy's POV
I was walking side by side with Ali with atom trailing us . As I saw a hog "Shh-shh-shh-shh.She's mine." Bellamy said a crack sounded scaring off the hog "Get him."
A small girl stood terrified next to the tree "hi wants your name ?" Ali asked walking over to her "Charlotte." The girl replied shakely
"I almost killed you." I said bluntly Ali shot me a look "Why aren't you back at camp?" She asked concerned "Well, what with that guy who was dying, I just I couldn't listen anymore."
"There's grounders out here." She said sighing Atom nodded adding "It's too dangerous for a little girl." Charlotte frowned "I'm not little."
I chuckled "Ok, then But you can't hunt without a weapon." Amelia said with a smile
"Ever killed something before? Who knows? Maybe you're good at it." I gave Charlotte a knife and Ali gave a slight smile and took her hand we were about to find the others when a loud horn sounded and a yellow fog floats towards us
Amelia's POV
"Run!!" Atom shouted. I ran full speed pulling Charlotte along into the entrance of a cave with Bellamy.
"Well were gonna be here a while we should get some rest" I said I took Charlotte and wrapped her in my jacket and Bellamy gave his as a pillow. I sat down next to bell after she fell asleep . "who knew the warrior was good with kids" he teased
"Who do u think raised Finn ??" I asked, it was true Finn and I are the same age but Finn is such a child
"where were you parents?" He inquired looking more stolen than his earlier teasing expression
"working most of the time" I replied flippantly. We sat there bell arm around me until Charlotte let out a scream "Hey char wake up your okay" I said lightly shaking her
"sorry" she said quietly looking down to avoid our eyes "Does that happen often?" Bellamy asked, she nod timidly. "About your parents ?" I asked knowingly, she nodded once again "I keep seeing it,I'm scared"
Belle sighed picking up the small homemade knife she had next to her on the floor "every time you feels scared squeeze that knife and say I'm not afraid" he advised softly
"I'm not afraid" charlotte affirmed squeezing the uneven metal till her hand went white from the pressure "come get some sleep we'll go back in the morning" I said placing the jacket back over her.

We met up with the others in the morning but our reunion was cut short when we heard a sharp scream. Dashing toward the source we found Atom lying burnt on the ground, his skin red and raw, his eyes clouded."go back to camp " I ordered charlotte.
She step forward slowly toward Bellamy "face your fears" she said placing the knife in his hands. Atom moaned from the ground somewhat unintelligible sounds coming from his burnt lips "kill me"
I knelt down next to him slowly "I'm gonna help you OK" I said quietly taking the knife from Bellamy, I could see the hesitation on his face, he couldn't do it. "It's Amelia, your okay"
Looking away I gently sunk the knife into his neck and closing his eyes.
The walk back was silent, heavy with guilt and grief.

I walked straight into the woods all the thoughts of how Octavia blames me buzzing in my head. In my anger I full force punched a tree spliting me hand and fell on my knees "bell" a familiar voice called out, Amelia's figure emerging from the trees.
"just go away." I muttered, I got up to walk off but she stood in front of me blocking my way. Then she sat me down holding my large hands in her small ones
"You don't have to act in front of me" she softly examined the wounds. Ever since we got to earth our hands had become rough and scarred, it was nothing like the clean, clinical ark.
"I'm alone" I muttered defeated, she breathed out shuffling closer "you have me and Octavia we'll always be here" she assured putting a hand on my arm her eyes meeting mine to confirm the sentiment.
"thank you"
"no problem" We walked back to camp and went to my tent where we fell asleep hugging
