Y/N's POV

Y/N: Mom?

My mother opened up her eyes at the sound of my voice.

Mom: Is this really you baby?

She touched my cheek with her hand.

Mom: Why are you crying baby?

I was crying my eyes out. I couldn't even hide it. Streams of tears ran down my cheeks.

My mother wiped some away with her finger.

Y/N: I-I'm sorry mom, I just can't take this any more. I can't save myself and I can't find love. I'm feel miserable.

With a loud sob I fell into her arms.

She held me there for a while.

Mom: Please don't cry baby. Mommy is here Y/N.

I stayed in her arms for a while longer, trying to stop my tears from falling down.

Mom: Tell me what to do and I'll do it baby, I can't bear seeing you like this.

Y/N: I just want this to end, the anguish and the suffering. I can't take it any more. Please mom, make it stop.

The next day

Jimin's POV

Jimin: I know that we've been dating for like a month but I really like you Momo.

I got out of my pocket a small box.

We were sitting in a booth at a coffee shop.

Momo got shocked and flinched by the little box.

I chuckled.

Jimin: Don't worry babe, it's not a ring.

She let out a sigh of relief.

Momo: You really got me there for a second you know...

She smiled.

Jimin: So, will you open it?

Momo got the box and held it nervously in her hand.

She opened it with a small hint of hesitation.

After see saw what was laying inside the box she gave me a smile.

Momo: Are you sure Jimin? This is a big step.

Jimin: I haven't been more sure for anything lately.

She paused for a second to think about her answer.

Momo: Sure, I'll move in with you.

Before I could cheer she spoke again.

Momo: But in one condition.

Jimin: Anything you want.

Momo: You have to tell me what is going on with you.

I tried to play dumb.

Jimin: W-What do you mean?

Momo: I want you to tell me what is happening. This whole month you've been acting weird. I let it slide because I really liked you but the last week it's become worse. If you want me to move in with you, you have to be honest.

I looked at her eyes and then I looked at my hands.

She grabbed them and squeezed them tight.

Jimin: You wouldn't believe me anyway.

She smiled and came to sit next to me.

Momo: Tell me who is haunting you.

I looked at her surprised.

Jimin: H-How...

Momo chuckled.

Momo: How did I know? You think that I haven't noticed things moving around the house at night, or you, talking to someone when no one is there? Either you are insane or there is a ghost in your life.

I started crying.

Jimin: You are right, I'll tell you everything.

I explained everything to Momo. From Y/N's accident to everything that happened ever since, leaving the note behind.

Momo: So what about this week? You have deteriorated.

Jimin: After our fight with Y/N she left me a letter that said that we should talk. We talked and she confessed her feelings for me.

Momo: I see...

Jimin: I told her that it is too late and that I really like you Momo.

Momo: You...

My phone rang and Momo stopped talking.

I looked at the caller ID and saw that Y/N's mother was the one calling me.

Momo: Answer it.

Momo said with a warm smile.

Jimin: Hello?

Mom: Jimin?

I could hear her voice trembling like she had been crying for hours.

Jimin: What happened? Is everything OK? Is Y/N OK?

Mom: I'm sorry Jimin. She came to me. I have to. I'm sorry.

I couldn't make sense of what she was saying.

Jimin: I-I don't understand.

A small pause. I could only hear her breathing over the phone.

Mom: I'm letting her go Jimin. It's happening in half an hour. I just thought you would like to know.

She hang up.

Momo: What happened?

Jimin: It's Y/N. Her mother is pulling the plug. What am I gonna do Momo?

She grabbed my hand and tried to calm me down.

Momo: Look at me.

I complied.

Momo: I really like you Jimin and this is why I have to let you go. Go be with her. If what you told me is  true, your love will save her. You already love her. Now it's time to show it.

Jimin: Thanks for everything Momo.

Momo: Don't waste time Jimin, go, go save her!

I got up and ran to my car.

I drove as fast as I could to the hospital.

I was so careless that I nearly crushed two times.

I ran up the stairs and found my way to her room.

When I arrived I saw her mother crying in front of her bed and a nurse ready to plug Y/N out of life support...

Jimin: No! Please! NO, DON'T DO IT!

A male nurse hold me back.

Mom I-I'm sorry Jimin, it's what she wanted.

Jimin: NO! Y/N! PLEASE! DON'T! DON'T KILL HER.

I saw the nurse pull the plug off Y/N's life support.

I felt everything around me darker. The air became harder to inhale and my body felt heavy.

The last thing I remember was hearing the flat line sound from the machine.

She was gone.

I was too late...
