1 month later; September

"Jewel did you go to class today ?" I asked her as she scrolled on her phone
"Yeah, shit was boring." She said as she locked her phone and sat up "Wanna go get something to eat ?"
"Sure, let me change out of the flats." I slipped them off and changed into some nike slides
She grabbed her purse and I grabbed my Louis V tote before looking over at Marcella who was knocked out in my bed. She always complained her room was too far to walk too after class, so she slept in my bed.
"You're glowing." Jewel said as we walked down the hallway
"I'm just happy." I shrugged smiling
"Mhmm, you been riding dick that's why you so happy." She laughed "She rode that dick like a soldier."
"Jewel." I gasped looking around making sure no one hear her "Stop it."
"You growing up sis." She patted my shoulder
"It's life." I shrugged
We made our way to the cafeteria and got what we wanted to eat for our little lunch date. We sat back down at the table and I scooped some salad in my mouth.
"I never had their pizza before, you ?" Jewel sat down setting her pizza down in front of her
"No I.." I paused feeling nauseous from the smell of it
"You okay ?" Jewel asked raising an eyebrow
"Where's the bathroom ?" I looked around before spotting one
"Gia you—" She started but didn't finish from me jogging quickly to the bathroom
I pushed open a stall and didn't bother closing the door after me as I threw up my breakfast I ate. Jewel sighed and held my hair as I kept puking my life out.
"Gia are you sure you're okay ?" She asked once I flushed the toilet
"No I'm not." I slowly got up walking over to the sink "I'm pregnant."
She went to smile but I held my hand up stopping her
"I'm not keeping it." I spoke before pulling out my traveling toothbrush and toothpaste
"What ? What do you mean you're not keeping it." She rambled on "How far are you ? How do you even know your pregnant ?"
"Because I went to the doctors last week, I'm one month."
"Did you tell Gee ? You have to tell him."
"No I don't and you don't need to either." I told her "I'm not ready for a baby and I'm not keeping this baby Jewel."
"But Gia think before you make this decision. I wasn't ready either, but I"
"Jewel, I've made up my mind." I told her "And I would like if you kept this between us, I'll tell the girls another day."
"Alright, whatever you say." She held her hands up

"Got her shit all over the place." I mumbling picking up Gia purses she left over here
"Gee bring yo tree branch neck ass on down here so I can bust yo ass in this game !" Juju yelled
"He ain't a tree branch, that nigga a full blown gorilla." Marlon said
"Shut y'all toe up ass up !" I yelled at them as I dropped one of Gia purses "Shit."
I picked up everything that fell out and scrunched my face up at the black and white picture.
"Fuck ?" I mumbled looking at it "Shit a whole month ago."
"Boy fuck talking you so long ?" Juju walked inside my room
I kept staring at the picture as he walked over to me looking at it with me.
"Damn, you done big her up already ?"
"Shut the fuck up son." I mugged him sucking my teeth "Why the fuck she ain't tell me she fucking pregnant ?"
"She ain't tell you ?" Juju scrunched his face up
"Hell y'all ugly ass looking at ?" Marlon asked walking in the room standing on my right side "Oh who daughter you done buss up in ?"
I threw the picture on the ground and sat on the bed with my head in my hands. I ran my hands down my face trying to calm myself down.
"Fuck she ain't say nun for ?" I mumbled
"He talking to us or himself ?" Marlon asked
"Shut up nigga." Juju told him
I lifted my head up and just stared straight ahead at the wall. I sat there for a good while before shaking my head. I grabbed the blunt from my nightstand and lit it with my lighter.
"You straight ?" Juju asked
"Yeah." I nodded before grabbing my keys "We making a trip down to LSU."
"Say less, I need to check on Jewel." Juju shrugged
"Shit, I gotta big booty hoe waiting on me. Tell me what happen witcha situation bro." Marlon patted my shoulder before walking out
"Better pray for her." I mumbled blowing smoke out of my mouth
