the snow leopard and guard dog (ciel x Death Rose)

Chapter 1-the meeting

(Death rose POV)
Today my mom wanted us to go to a ball held by one of her most trusting and favorite guard dogs apparently as she called him so we were in the carrige in the way there until I started to get bored as I realized we were on the outskirts of london

"Mom why are we so far out of london?"I asked politely like a lady should although I really didn't want to

"Because that is where he lives my darling"she responded with that stupid veil over her face I always wanted to know why she wears it she told me once before but I don't remember it very well

"Oh okay thanks mom"I responded looking back out the window

"Do you remember the rules for when we at other people's balls my dear"she asked me as I nodded

"Yes mom I do"I said

"Please tell me"she said as I looked at her

"Stay close,don't let go of your hand,don't dance with anyone,and don't talk to anyone."I said as she nodded at me with a smile that I could barely see through her smile I was about to ask her about the veil but then the career came to a stop so I shut my mouth like my moms rules said soon someone opened the door it was a butler all dressed in black with black hair and crimson red eyes As he took my moms hand and left her out he welcomed her then he took mine

"Hello miss death rose how nice of you to be able to come we don't normally see you at the manor hope you enjoy the party"he said welcominglly as i smiled and nodded my head smiling as he looked at me kinda like he was confused but me and my mom continued to walk as she took my hand

"so daughter we are going to see my guard dog first and you will act like the good daughter I taught you to be not the snow leopard you call yourself" I'm sad as I nodded and she just smiled or I think it was a smile not sure but after walking through a bunch of people we must have gotten where mom wanted to go because she stopped randomly oit of the middle of nowhere

"Um mom why did you stop?" I asked as she quickly looked down at me

"Remember the rules my dear do not break them"she said "and we stopped because my guard dog is right there" then she pointed to a boy wearing all blue with black boots on I could only see the side of him so I didn't get a good look at his face but it looked like he had something covering his eye kinda like an eye patch but he was talking to someone so we had to wait but soon enough I guess he noticed my mom so he started to walk in our direction as my mom put me behind her and told me to be quiet but as he got closer I saw her really was wearing an eye patch to cover his left eye but then my mom and him started to talk

"Why hello my queen"the kid said

"Hello my guard dog"mom said back

"Please there are people around just call me Ciel in front of people"he said politely but without a smile and as they were talking he kept looking down at me like he wanted to talk to me for some reason but then I guess h got the courage"hey queen"

"Yes ciel?"mom asked as I hid even more

"Who is that hiding behind you?"Ciel asked

"What are you talking about there is no one behind me"mom said her voice shaking

"Oh please queen there is definitely someone behind you first of all your voice is shaking your voice never shakes and I can see her completely"he said as my mom made me come out so he could see me

"Ceil Phantomhive my guard dog please meet my daughter Death Rose the snow leopard"mom said in a queen voice as u curtsied and he just stared at me before his Butler nuged his shoulder reindinf him to bow and he shook his head and then bowed politely as he stood up I smiled but he still wasn't smiling he still looked like a professional child

"Nice to meet you lord Phantomhive"I said politely

"Not so bad yourself Duchess Rose" he said grabbing my hand and kissing the back of it like a gentleman as I blushed lightly so he couldn't see it after us meeting my mom went back to talking business with him totally forgetting about me so I took this opportunity and walked off to wander around I was walking around for a few moments before I got bumped into by some guy I prepared myself for the impact but it never came so I looked up to see who caught me and I saw Ceil

"Oh hey Lord Phantomhive"I said as he helped me up the rest of the way

"Hello Duchess Rose"he saud as he took my hand and guided me to the dance floor and began to dance with me

"Oh please call me Death Rose I hate it when people call me that it really annoys me"I said

"Well in that case please call me Ceil"he said but he got close to my ear as he whispered to me"just between is two I don't like being called Lord Phantomhive by most people"

"Really it would seem as someone like yourself would love to be called by a name like that"I joked

"Oh very funny Death Rose aren't you a jokester"he said fake laughing as he twirled me around the dance floor until I heard my mom call for me so he stopped dancing with me once he heard her

"Wouldn't be smart if my mom saw me dancing with one of her guard dogs"I said as he nodded his head and and went over to a table still holding my hand and wrote something down anf handed it to me as well saw my mom getting closer and he let go of my hand just as my mom got to us and I hid the note not even getting a chance to read it so may mom said we were leaving so we both said goodbye to Ceil and once we got outside I said goodbye to the butler who somehow got out here that quick once we said goodbye we got in the carrige and we were on our way to the castle once more

"So my dear did you enjoy dancing with Lord Phantomhive?"mom asked

"What how did you know?"I asked her shocked

"I saw you two of course I didn't bother you guys because for once I saw him smile and laugh and he rarely does that"she said as I smiled remembering the moment"but you do realize my dear you need to be careful when you go and see him sometimes if you want to"

"Why mom?"I asked

"Because he has a betroved"she said as I snapped my head to look at her the smile completely off my face

"Oh well I guess I will have to be careful then thank you mom"I said as she noddef her head in thanks and looked out the window again as I took out the paper Ceil gave me and read it quietly to myself and it said

Dear Death Rose,

Come over to my manor tomorrow I would really like to get to know you better. We didn't get to talk as much as I wanted to at the ball unfortunately becaise if your mother being so protective. I'm sure you know about my fiancee Lady Elizabeth Milford so tommoroww is the only day she will not be over at my manor. So hope to see you there
