Chapter 12: Lia's thoughts and friendship

*Lia's POV*

"Lia, you okay?" Mom asked

"Yea, it's just that a friend of mine is in the hospital and I'm worried about him..." I said looking down

"Really? What happened?" Mom asked

"It's kinda personal so they want to keep it a secret, but once everthing is done... I'll tell you" I said smiling softly

"Ok then... But remember if you need someone to talk to, I'm always free" Mom said

"Kay mom! Thx!" I said

That Afternoon...

at the hospital...

"Is Baekhyun ok?" I asked

"He's awake... but he has to stay for a few days since he has a weak immune system..." Eun Mi said

'Weak Immune System...' I thought

"Eun Mi-ah I'm sorry to ask this but what's weak immune system?" I asked

"It means that his body system is weak and it takes him longer to heal than a normal person" She said while sobbing

"Ooo... Can I see him? You know as a friend since I've never talk to him... Maybe I can introduce myself!" I asked

"Sure..." Eun Mi said

Baekhyun's Room...

I went in and sat on a chair next to his bed

"Annyeonghaseyo!" I said

'Annyeong...' He texted in his phone since he still had his breathing tube on

"I would like to introduce myself! You know since I'm Eun Mi's friend..." I said

'Ok!' he texted

"Annyeonhaseyo! My name is Lia! I'm half Japanese half English!" I said happily

'Annyeonghaseyo! I'm sorry but I can't speak so I type instead... My name is Byun Baekhyun and I am a member of EXO!' he typed

I smiled

"Don't be sorry! It's not your fault you can't talk!" I said

"Anyway... Let's be friends!" I said

'Ok!' He replied

I somehow felt relieved that I got a new friend

I wish I could have someone to trust so that I can get all my secrets out to share to that someone!
