Look at me now!
Everyday i clean scars.
For battles i fight,
And i will keep the fight on.
Because i made a vow
To reach for the stars
To be the light
To be the embodiment of the dawn
Over the years
There were too many battles
Too much for my strength to keep
Weakness became a friend to me
I cried a river of tears
My bones were shattered
I forgot sleep
Is this how it's going to be?
Sometimes
I lose faith and hope
I lay my sword down
And morn for the loss
How i lost my dreams,
My feelings towards some people
How i lost friends
And unspoken lovers
Oh the lovers that i never known
Yet i keep stitching wounds of others
Ignoring my own
Till my body got worn out
And i had to let it go
To enter a phase
To change
Into a butterfly
That carries no chains
In the moments of darkness
I must held high my sword
To spit the blood
And keep moving forward
No time to relax
No time to be sad
Keep on the fight
