Zahra: Thank you for the flowers. They're beautiful.

10:35am

Imran: I'm glad you liked them.

10:56am

Zahra: I googled the meaning of the flowers. I didn't even know what the purple one was.

Imran: It's a lily.

Zahra: Yeah, I know now. Hope, yeah?

Imran: 👉🏾👈🏾

Zahra smiled at the message. He's not denying it.

Zahra : Goodnight.

Imran: Night✨

Zahra: I really hope you're not going to start sending these daily. Would hate to bankrupt you.

Imran: Nope, definitely not going to be a daily thing.

Zahra: Good. They were delicious, I've never had crab before. Thank you.

Imran: I'm glad you liked it.

Zahra : What's the name of the flower you sent today?

Imran: It's a chrysanthemum.

Zahra: I'm going to google the meaning. Thank you.

OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS, An array of gifts came for Zahra. From food to funky rings, charm bracelets, a necklace with her name on it, a very cute teddy bear and the one that tugged on her heartstrings the most—a green gift box which contained a customised copy of the Qur’an with her name on it, a lush green prayer mat, a smaller Qur'an that had just Suratul Kahf in it and a dark green hijab.

The box had a quote written on the inside of the cover, it was a verse from the Qur'an and the meaning of it touched her to her very core, for it felt like the answer to all her prayers asking Allah to make a decision for her.

“...And We made you in pairs.” The fine script stared at her, fuelling the one question in her mind.

Is he the other half of my pair?
