seven: jealous

jim and i walk down to the warehouse, on monday, per michael's request

we have to stay down there for at least two hours and take notes on how they are working and stuff

it's stupid, but at least i have jim to keep my entertained

about two minutes in, jim plops down on the worn out couch next to me

"this is stupid. i'm already bored" he whines

i nod, resting my head on his shoulder

he laughs lightly "don't fall asleep on me already"

"but your so comfortable"

he laughs again, making me smile

"so i've been told"

i laugh, lifting my head up to look at him

"hey jim, y/n" a familiar voice says

i look over, seeing roy

"look, i just wanted to apologize for being an ass the other day when i went to your apartment, y/n. it was uncalled for. and jim, i'm sorry for giving you a black eye and freaking out"

"it's fine man" jim says, waving him off "it's all good"

roy nods, looking at me, waiting for an answer

i look at jim and he nods, letting me know he's okay with it

"okay roy, i accept your apology" i say, looking at him

a smile appears on his face "so we're cool?"

i smile "we're cool"

he nods, walking back to his work

about two hours later, jim and i head back to the office where we give michael our reports

he thanks us before saying we can have our lunch break since we technically missed it

"that was so boring" i say, sitting at the table

he nods, pulling out his salad as i pull out mine as well

"it's still weird that roy apologized to me"

i shrug "he has his decent moments, but they don't show often"

he nods "so take it when i can?"

i nod, laughing

he smiles, taking a big bite of his salad

i smile widely, watching him chew

"what?" he asks after he swallows his bite

"you chew like a bunny"

he playfully rolls his eyes "you're crazy"
