The Mistake Part 2

A/N I couldn't think of anything else for the title so instead, it's a part 2 for the last chapter.

Severus's POV

When I heard the thud and slowly looked down not wanting to see what was waiting when I looked down, fully, Harry was lying on the floor with blood seeping through his hair and on his back, "Harry? Harry!!" I yelled getting the others attention,

"Need help, Severus?" I heard Draco ask and I looked at him,

"You can run fast right?" I asked and he looked at me confused but nodded a 'yes', "Ok, I need you to run ahead of me and get Poppy to set up a bed for Harry and tell her I'll be there in a bit," he nodded and ran out the room and I picked up Harry bridal style and turned my attention to Crabbe and Goyle,

"I need you two to follow me you will finish your detention by helping take care of Harry," they nodded and followed me to the hospital wing, I walked fast not wanting to accidentally trip with Harry when we reached the hospital wing Poppy hurried us in and showed me to a bed two beds away from the door, I hurried over and layed him down there was a chair by the bed, knowing it was for me I sat in it and my attention was turned towards the other three,

"You three, help Poppy with Harry if I come back and you aren't doing the right things to help him you'll have detention for the rest of the year," I snarled they had looks of fear on their faces and I walked towards Dumbledores office to tell him of the incident, 'Mars Bars' I muttered and the gargoyle sprung to life revealing stairs I ran up them and knocked on the door,

"Come in," I heard him mutter I walked in and he was behind his desk talking to Minerva, "What is it Severus?" he asked seeing me rush in and sit down,

"It's Harry," I said fighting back tears,

"What about him, Severus?" he asked seeming annoyed,

"Well, he was testing his wings out they seemed to be ok in supporting him in flight or floating so I let him float at the top corner of my classroom while Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle were serving detention, and I felt pain like I felt his heart drop to his stomach, and then I heard it," I said 

"Heard what, Severus?" Minerva asked interested in the talk about her seeker,

"I heard him fall on the ground," I said and they both had looks of horror on their faces as I let some tears fall down my face,

"Go to him, Severus, I'll cover your classes until he is better, Minerva if you want to go too you may," he said and we both nodded rushing back to the hospital wing,

"How is he, Poppy?" Minerva asked knowing I might cry if I asked,

"He will be okay, he had a few broken ribs and a cracked skull, but, nothing magic couldn't fix," she said and looked at him, "May I ask, what happened?" she added confused,

"His wings they- they gave way when he was floating at the top of the classroom," I said choking back sobs,

"Oh, you two bonded recently didn't you?" she asked and I nodded, "Very well, some veela wings have a mind of their own, in this case, Harry's wings have a mind of their own and when you bonded they were trying to make sense of it and became jumpy at the slightest sounds and will themselves away, so it isn't your fault or Harrys, Severus, you just didn't know," she said and I was full on crying at this point I sat in the chair by his bed and held his hand as the others were finishing giving him potions,

"He'll be out for a couple days, Draco, Crabbe, Goyle go to your dorm when you've finished," she said, I nodded and held his hand as I fell asleep.

*A month later*

Harrys POV

I woke up and felt something at my side not knowing where I was I tried sitting up and was met with a great deal of pain, the lump on the side of me looked up and I realized it was Sevy without his glamour, his eyes were red and puffy like he was crying before he fell asleep,
