naive Part Two: "We Need To Talk"

PART TWO OF MY FIRST STORY!!! I'd like to thank everyone who read the first part, I hope you guys enjoyed it and will continue to read it :) I also hope more people read and give some helpful tips? IT'D BE MORE THAN APPRECIATED!!! :D

Sooooo, for those who would like to know more about the characters, I'll clear it up now:)  Jennifer and Emma have been going to the same school since 3rd grade but became friends in 5th grade and are now seniors in high school. Jacob or "Jake" has been going to the same school as Emma since 1st grade and is also a senior. Emma moved to town in her 3rd grade year.  Pretty much everyone in town has been going to he same elementary, middle, and high school, small town, rumors spread faster :O aw snap! BUT, enjoy the storyyyyyy!! :D (P.S: i know Jake is a common name, don't slaughter me? lol, thanks :*)

The weekend is over, time for school again. Jennifer went home after spending the weekend at Emma's.  It's Monday morning, Jake showed up at Emma's on Saturday. It's May 5th, now the countdown for Jake's party begins.

 Emma's P.O.V

Best. Weekend. Ever. Jake came to my freakin' house! I got a personal invite to his party!! Jenn says all girls do but I don't now why she won't be happy for me, she knows I've been wanting his attention since I first saw him. I had to beg her to go to the party with me, I'm so glad we're going together! I hope Jake has a friend for her....Hell, I hope Jake even talks to me!

One step at a time, Emma.

That's what Jennifer always says, it really helps, she's always looking out for me:)

I had to make sure I looked perfect today, without looking too different than usual, Jenn would notice and know I'm just doing it for Jake. I wore a fitted white crop top with high waisted floral shorts and my white converse. Hair up high, perfect cat-eye. Adorable

AT SCHOOL:

I'm at my locker getting my books for 1st hour, I usually get to school early so I can have all my things and get to Jennifer without being late for class, I'm so use to our lockers being in the same hall, she's all the way on the other side of the school now. By the time I get my things and get prepared for the day (mostly making sure I look great)  a lot of students have showed up and the hallway's packed. I look at my phone and see it's 6:45, class starts in 15 minutes, I'm just in time.

I make my way to Jennifer's locker and when I get to her hall I see her doing the same thing she does everyday, get her books, folders, and notebooks and close her locker. No checking her hair, nothing. I wish I was as secure as her....then again, the hottest guy ever didn't go to HER house and give her a personal invite, she never tries to impress anyone.

"Jennifer!" I screamed from the end of the hall. She looked up and walked towards me, meeting me halfway through the hall.

"Hey Em!" she said while walking towards me. Yeah we yell in the halls, people are use to it by now.

We hugged and started walking towards our class, finally we have every class together, most seniors get out early, only the ones who got most of their credits and only need to have a few core classes a day. Jennifer and I being part of that group :) so worth it.

We never walk in silence, so I started a conversation

"Are you excited for the party? I'm more excited than I've ever been for anything!"

Jenn chuckled and shook her head, "I'm going for you Em, not him"

Sometimes I think she doesn't take me seriously, she treats me like a child, I'm 18, Jenn. So are you. Same level here.  "Well, I'm very excited, this that one small step towards Jake and I being an item."
