Chapter 11: Sister

"Look at us! Here we are again back inside your head in this damn dark room again!" She said with a grim face.

"And whose fault is that?!" I said clenching my teeth in anger. I had reached a point when I wasn't scared of this piece of garbage apparition. She was ruining my life and I couldn't just stand and gawk at her.

"You will start liking me very soon. You would want to know everything about me? You will crave for my very presence every second of your life!" She yelled. She pressed her fingers more into my head and I flinched in pain.

"Get those filthy fingers off my head! It hurts you bitch! Get out of my head! You saw what I did to you the last time eh?!" I breathed heavily. The pain was increasing by the passing seconds and I was tied down to the damn chair.

"That barely hurt Rhea. Your powers are just like that of a baby. You haven't yet realised just how powerful you can be. Let me help you understand your potential. We can do this together." She had an evil smirk on her face and I knew that she was upto no good. But I needed answers from this girl right here right now. I wanted to end this today once and for all.

"Oh yeah? Why don't you show me then huh? I am all eyes and ears! I bet your sorry ass doesn't have the guts to show me." I said.

Suddenly my eyes started glowing and it turned florescent green in colour. The apparition was baffled by the sight and took a few steps back because clearly I gave her a hard time the last time. Soon I saw her floating with her hands around her neck. She started choking and her eyes had turned black. She was kicking and trashing around mid air.

"Stop it! You're killing me! You're killing the closest thing you have to a family!" She coughed out the words.

Wait what? She knows my family? Was she a part of my family? But mom never mentioned her?

My eyes glowed brighter than before and I demanded she tell me what she meant by closest to my family. I felt her choking get worse and I couldn't help but smile internally. I was enjoying hurting her and it was giving me a pleasure which couldn't be described.

"Sssstoppp..." she cried out.

I dropped her and made her body float right in front of my face.

"Tell me! What did you mean by closest thing to the family? Tell me right now otherwise I will kill you!" I screamed. At this point of time I was shaking in anger and had managed to break free of the ropes.

"So.."she whispered. " You are breaking free. Did you see what you did to me? You enjoyed it didn't you? It's time for you to realise your potential. Yes let it take over you. Give it control!" She whispered with a smirk on her face. Although I tormented her physically but she was doing the same to me only mentally.

"What are you to me!! Tell me right now!" I screamed with all my might which made her cower and flinch a bit.

"I AM YOUR TWIN SISTER!" she yelled back.

I sat with a horrified look on my face. It's like my world was shattered all over again. I couldn't take it anymore. I had nobody left in this world. My head started spinning and I fell off the chair. I buried my head under hands and started crying out loud.

"Yes! You cry Rhea..you cry as much as you want. We are destined to be together. I am coming to get you very soon. You will finally see me in flesh!" she started laughing loudly. She was so evil and I could feel her evilness in my head.

"Lies!! You can never be my sister! It can't be!" I screamed while crying.

"We feel each other's pain, sorrow, happiness and every other emotion! We are ONE!" She said while circling around my crying body.

"No!!!!!!" I screamed which caused a hurricane like phenomena and I snapped out my trance.

I could feel Doc and Tom hover over my comatose body. My body had shut down completely. My eyes were shut but I could somehow communicate with Tom and Doc mentally.

"Hey Doc! Can you get me out of this dark room?" I mind linked to Doc.

"Is that her? Oh my God she can communicate like you Tom! She is stuck in her subconscious mind. Get her out of there before it's too late!" He called out to Tom. I could hear them clearly but I couldn't respond physically.

"Okay I need you to focus on my voice now. You will slowly start drifting towards my voice. Concentrate as hard as you can." Tom whispered.

I followed his voice and saw myself slowly exiting the dark room. I fluttered my eyes open and looked around to see that I was still in the training room. Tom had cupped my cheeks between his palms and was staring into my eyes. He was blabbering something but I couldn't hear anything, I was in a daze!

I slowly readjusted to the surroundings and looked at Tom. Before I knew anything I started crying. Doc and Tom had a confused look on their faces but started comforting and consoling me nevertheless.

"Hey shhhh..I'm here. You don't need to worry." he said with a concerned tone.

"I can't sleep anymore Tom..not anymore. She is my twin sister! I have a family!? I cannot bear to look at her anymore. I don't want to get hurt anymore. Get her out of my head!" I cried out.

Tom picked me up and took me to my room followed by Doc. He placed me on my bed and started filling the Tub with hot water. I could still see Doc staring at me intently with a look of guilt on his face.

"Did you know about this Doc?" I whispered between my sobs.

"I..uhhh..I was going to tell you but never found a right time. You were already strained mentally and I couldn't tell this to you." He said while he hung his head low. He started to chip off the corner of my study table in nervousness.

"You will never find the right time Doc! This is breaking me and tearing me apart. 18 years of my life was a lie, my parents are dead both adoptive and biological. I have these powers which have a mind of their own and I now have a twin sister who finds absolute pleasure in tearing me apart." I said while sitting up on the bed. My head fell back on the head board. I was looking up at the ceiling and contemplating my existence.

"I am so sorry Rhea. It's true that your parents had twins. One being you and the other being that girl. I don't know her name but rumour has it that she is as powerful as you are. You both share the exact same DNA which makes you both bound together." he said.

"Get out! Get away from me both of you! Trash! This is all trash! Get the fuck out!" I screamed which made Tom come running out of the room. He took a step towards me to calm him down but I raised my hand showed him the door. They scurried out of my room and I couldn't help but think what was I born for exactly.

I got out the bed and went into the bathroom. I shut the door and locked it. I turned to see the bathtub was full of water. I took out one my favourite bathbomb's and plonked it inside the tub. I saw the water turn red. I took off my clothes and stood in front of the mirror. I stared at all the scars on my body but I couldn't see the scars inside my head. I banged my fist on the sink which caused it to break. But guess what? I couldn't care less.

I submerged myself into the huge bathtub. I let the hot water sting my skin till I adapted to the temperature. I was about to close my eyes when I flinched at the very idea of doing it. What if she came back into my head again? I couldn't bear to get tortured again.

I took a deep breathe kept my eyes as wide as I could. But slowly sleep was consuming me. I felt my eyes drooping and I dropped my head back. I started slipping into the bathtub and felt my head submerge under water. I knew I was drowning but I couldn't move. I guess I was having a paralytic attack. I started swallowing the water because I was drowning in that one feet water. I was clearly "accidentally drowning". I tried to put my hand up but instead swallowed more water.

I could take no more and let myself drown. I felt my head hit the bottom of the bathtub. My eyes closed and I started giving way to the darkness. My last thought was thanking God for letting me know that I still had a sister left for me in this world. Evil or not, she still was my sister afterall.
