9. The finals🔫

You went down to the subway to go to the finals. You followed some watchers out to a secret place and they gavs you a hand gun. You went to this old abandoned arena as you saw a lot of the watchers chanting and yelling.

You were in the middle of the arean and the spotlights were on you and Tom. You saw Tom so you tried to walk up to him as he did to but then you got stopped

VOICE: Players stop! Back up

You and Tom backed away from each other and stood there.

VOICE: Players show us your weapons

You pulled out the gun you got and Tom pulled out a pistol

VOICE: First to shoot wins. 20 seconds on the clock. BEGIN!

TOM: No no no

YOU: Okay just raise your gun up slowly and shoot me in the shoulder

TOM: I don't think I can do this. What if I miss

YOU: Tom we don't have a choice c'mon! This is the only way it can end, then you can just walk away!

Tom looked at you, tears form in his eyes. He slowly raised the gun as his hangs were shaking and put his finger on the trigger. You closed you eyes and turned your head trying not to think about it.

CROWD: 5! 4! 3! 2!

You heard the gun go off but when you opened your eyes you saw that Tom aimed the gun at the ground and shot in to the dirt.

TOM: I'm not doing this

He started to walk away as you chased after him. All of a sudden you heard gunshots go off and everything went silent. You turned around to see someone in the spotlight

???: I'll do it!

The guy satred walking tword you while pointing the gun. They took off his mask and revealed Haz

HAZ: Did y'all miss Me! Now I say we do that dare again

The crowd cheered loudly. You put your hands up

YOU: C'mon Haz it's not worth it. Don't do it

TOM: Stop!

He ran in front of you and Haz started to point the gun back an forth between you and Tom. You all started yelling as the crowd got louder

TOM: is this what you want?!For us to kill each other ?!

HAZ:Yes!

TOM: You think that takes nerve. Well then why don't you take off your mask and tell us your name's. It's easy for you to hide behind your screen names but you're all still responsible for what happens tonight

HAZ: Are you really be believing this bullshit?! Play to win!

TOM: then shoot me! I dare you

HAZ: Okay. Who wants me to shoot him!

Everyone started voting yes or no . Then the big screen lit up and said yes. In less then a second the gun went off and Tom was in your arms on the ground. You started yelling and crying as he laid dead in your arms. Everyone was silent until they all got messages that said they were associated in murder. Everyone started leaving so it was just you, Tom, and Haz. Haz pulled out his phone to record you and Tom. You looked up at him and grabbed the gun that was next to.

HAZ: Hey woah, woah, woah,!!

Tom suddenly woke up and stopped you

TOM: It's okay. I'm okay

You dropped the gun and hugged Tom then looked up at Haz who helped you up

YOU: How did you...

HAZ: They're blanks

(A/N if you don't know what blanks, they are fake bullets you can use but they won't do any harm)

HAZ: We Good?

YOU: Yeah. So how did you...

TOM: It's all fake. I'm okay

You gave Haz a hug then he left to leave you and Tom alone

YOU: You didn't get hurt?

TOM: No I'm okay

YOU: How did you do that?

TOM: I called Haz to help me out and my friends from NYU that are good with computers so they hacked into nerve and shut it down for good. We're finally free

You put your head on his chest while Tom put his big warm arms around you. You looked up at him and put your finger on his chest

YOU: Don't ever scare me like that again

TOM: okay love

He kissed your forehead and laced his fingers in yours

TOM: Let's get outta here Yeah?

YOU: Yeah

You exited the arena, hopped on your motorcycle and drove off the central park
