Cassidy was running around trying to get everything ready for Randy and John's wedding
Right now, she was in the room with Randy trying to help get him ready in time, she was standing in front of him, tying his tie for him while he tried to will himself to not sweat through his tux
"You look amazing," Randy complimented looking at his best friend, he specifically told her to wear a gold dress and boy, was she slaying the game

"I'll steal the spotlight from you on your own wedding day," she joked and Randy laughed before he got serious
"So I need to tell you something." He began and she gave him a look and straightened his suit while looking at all the guests walking into the church
"You're getting all serious on me. What's wrong?" She asked, bending to shine a scuff off his shoes
"You're gonna hate me," he admitted and Cassidy laughed and walked over to get Randy the gold bracelet that she had gifted him
"You're my best friend Rand, nothing you could ever do will make me hate you," she told him and he bit his lip when she returned in front him
"I invited Dean." He admitted quickly and Cassidy's eyes immediately snapped up to him
"I hate you," she said, and then started pacing before she walked over to the suite's couch and sat down
"For fuck's sake." She cursed in exasperation and she rubbed her eyes
Randy twitched guiltily and went over to rest a hand on her shoulder and sit with her
"I'm sorry, but he called to ask if we needed entertainment for the reception and I told him yes, I wasn't thinking I'm so sorry," he apologized and Cassidy sighed
She was about to say something, when she caught sight of the three walking into the church

"Would you go and show them to their seats?" Randy asked, giving her a pleading look, she clenched her jaw and left, she didn't wanna do this.
"Hey, thank you so much for coming!" She said, faking excitement as she went over to the trio
Seth pulled her into a hug and she smiled at him, then Roman did the same
"You okay?" He whispered into her ear and she gave him a smile and a slight nod when they pulled back
She looked at Dean for a few moments before she gave him a brief hug to
"Let me show you to your seats," she invited, and led the way, Dean pulled her back when Roman and Seth had sat down
"Cass, I'm so sorry," he told her and shs shook her head, her eyes filling with tears
"Please not now, not here." She begged and he bit her lip and sat down without another word and she silently thanked god
Now it was time for Randy to walk down the aisle, the music began and he linked his arm with Cassidy's and they slowly made their way down the aisle
Dean wiped his eyes as he stared at Cassidy, she looked as beautiful as the day he met her, he couldn't do this without her anymore. He knew he needed to win her back, but 'how?' was the question.
Melanie walked down with Randy's cousin, throwing flowers on the aisle
John was already at the altar and Cassidy had to hug John's best man, his brother Sean and from where she was, she could see how happy Randy was, to finally be marrying John
Cassidy went to her side and put Randy's hand on John's since she was giving hin away
Cassidy ever so often made eye contact with Dean during the ceremony and to see him in a setting like this was fucking with her
After the wedding, Cassidy took the first picture of the newlyweds and decided that would be their wedding gift

Now to the reception they went. Roman offered her a ride and she hesitantly accepted the offer only because she drove here with Randy. Melanie went home with Randy's sister who had afternoon classes so she wasn't able to stay
She made conversation with Roman and Seth and she wondered why Dean was so quiet and weird.
Dean and the guys sang Randy and John's wedding song and then Dean went over to Roman and Seth and whispered something, then he turned back and put down his guitar, standing close to the mic
Cassidy stood with her arms folded as the music began and Dean began singing, voice mixing with the instrumental beautifully
Cassidy felt tears in her eyes when he was done, he had stared at her the entire song while couples slow danced, the two of them were lost in each other's eyes, Dean staring from the stage and her staring into his electric blues from by the table
"I love you," he mouthed and that's when she broke. She couldn't be here right now
She quickly walked out of the reception hall and saw Randy's mom waiting there, next to a car
"Randy told me what's happened, let me take you home dear," she told Cassidy who gratefully nodded and they quickly got in the car and left
Cassidy changed out of her dress and put on her sweatpants and a crop top and tied her hair in a bun and sat on her bed and cried. She didn't care if it made her weak, she just sat and cried, she didn't know what else to do
She just listened to the album Dean wrote for her and cried the entire night, silently thanking god that Mel had gone with Randy's sister
She listened to Dean's sultry voice and felt like dying. She was proud of herself for spending some time with him today without breaking down. There was too much history between them and to see him and hear him sing to her was just too much
She hugged her knees and buried her face in them, taking some deep breaths and trying not to hyperventilate, he was back in town, Randy would be going on his honeymoon, she would be alone in the same town with him. Was she really ready to hear him out?
