Too Late

She had given up

And didn't move for days

Her parents weren't there

She let herself decay

Nix noticed the absence

Blaming his confession

But after days of worrying

He went to her house to check in

He found Mia in bed

Her breathing weak

He tried to shake her awake

And her problem was seen

Nix called for help

And they took her away

Luck was against him

She left him a note
