"Brinda" Sindu nudged me, I still didn't gave any reaction, Sindu is one of my busmate, our stop is the same, We both usually board two different busses, bus 5 in the morning and bus 7 in the evening
"BRINDA" and now she literally shouted, R.I.P eardrums
"Stop yelling Sindu" I said, I was busy in practicing the quote
"Steady yourself" she said, I questioned why
"We are at school" she said again and the bus stopped, If she didn't reminded me, I would practically fall down in the bus, I said thank you for her generosity of this little sweetie.
I stepped out of bus and met devil herself, don't get me wrong it's mybestie
"Did you do any homework?" She asked me, It's the freaking first thing she asked me!
"Nah, I enjoyed kDrama" I said back sarcastically
"When will you ever do the homework Bree" she practically shouted at me, yeah my bestie is so bossy #BossyBestie
"Just kidding, I've already done" I said laughing, I just love teasing her
"Omigod! That's an wonder" she exclaimed, here we are #SassySreya
"Haha, very funny" I said as we reached our class, and here we are in the entrance of the class room with our P.T.E sir scolding rest of the class
"Why are you late?" He asked us
"Sir, bus..." He understood what I was saying even though I didn't get a chance to Finish
"Come to prayer now" he technically shouted at the class and left, I ran to my very last bench, placed my bag in middle, yeah I'm middle monkey and hurried down for the prayer
"Did ya practiced what to say?" Renu asked running behind me, I nodded
Renu and sreya went to 9th girl line while I stood before everyone, practically whole school, yup I'm the bravest
"Did you memorised quote" A girl beside me asked
"Yup" I replied
"Attention everybody, Stand at dis......" The boy before us began, just like everyday, Atmosphere is tension between people beside me, Got it Stage fright, But That doesn't mean I'm brave enough, This is my first time and Then I saw him
He stood there, before me perfectly aligned, he looked different comparing to others, He looked Calm and sweet while his classmates were complete opposite, He didn't wear tie today and that gave more attention to his collar, He looked like one of those 'perfect Good Boy', He is different, I've been staring at him for more than a minute, But he did not stare back at me, and that's different, He looked like he's blushing and I immediately liked his smile, and his lips.....
The same girl beside me nudged and brought me back to reality from thoughts
"CloseYourEyes" she whispered, Then I've realised its time to say prayer, I didn't closed my eyes, I continued to stare him while he brought his hands clapped to his chest and bend his head, closed his eyes and said prayer, he looked freaking cute like this
He slowly opened his eyes and looked at me, not more than a millisecond
"You are next after me" The again same girl said, she is saving me from embarrassing myself, I nodded indicating okay
She said some news, which reminded me that I forgot that damn quote, I seriously forgot quote by just looking at him for few minutes, I slowly removed a crumbled paper from my skirt pocket and memorised, Then I took the microphone from her hand and said the quote, I came back to my place as the principal started his speech which is apparently sleep worthy
"You were pretty distracted?" The same girl beside me asked
"Stage fright!" I said covering myself
"I'm Anandi" she Introduced herself
"Brinda" I said my name casually
"We are same class aren't we?" She asked
"Yes" I said
"Is this your first time?" She asked, jeez she's asking too many questions, I nodded
"Meetoo" she smiled and I smiled back
"Dismiss" The boy before us shouted, I took one last glance at the Innocent cutie before me and climbed stairs beside me to the class
