6.Fooling Your Own Heart Is Difficult

I was so shocked to find them know each other.

Noah had a very big smile on his face and he went towards Rose, he gave her the beautiful banquet of flowers.

If I was her, I would probably be so happy right now. But she didn't look like she is happy.

She just smiled and then he said, "Well I'm sorry that I bothered you or anything, I just wanted to surprise you." she said, "Well no you didn't bother me." Then she looked behind her and she saw that Luke was standing and looking at her. So she quickly said to Noah, "well I am sorry Noah, but I am really so busy." A frown was formed onto his face and then he said, "well it is ok, good luck."

And I was just standing watching all those romantic moments in front of my eyes. I was just so furious and depressed.

All those nice admirable words were just for Rose, the person who doesn't care about anybody in the whole world but herself. But anyway why am I surprised? It always happens to me.

Noah just stayed still for a while and then he just waved sadly to me. And then he left.

I was just so angry but I just couldn't see him that sad, so I kept texting him but he just didn't reply to any. So I went to our meeting point, and luckily I found him there. He was just sitting on swing aimlessly. I went to him but he seemed so deep thinking as he didn't even my presence. I put my hand on his shoulder but he just didn't even look at me. I began to speak, I said, "I think we should talk." He didn't look at me. So I shook him and I told him loudly, "Noah, wake up, this is not you. I won't let you give up like this. Come on, I have good news to you."

He didn't seem excited at all by what I was going to say so I told him myself, "Noah I already know rose." He didn't seem impressed and he said, "Well of course you will know her she is your colleague." I said, "Well she isn't just my colleague she is also my twin." That's when he was finally shocked and he looked at me and he said, "What do you mean by twin?" I said, "I mean my twin, my sister." He said curiously, "so what do you want to say?" I said smilingly, "well I can help you, at least to repay how you helped me on our first meeting."

Now he was beginning to be better again, and then he said, "So how are we going to do things?" I said, "Well I actually don't know, but maybe I can tell you what she likes or something like that." Then he smiled to me and he held my hand.

Oh and that's when a spark just across my body, I couldn't feel anybody or anything except me and him. And he said, "You are the best thing that ever happened to me." I just smiled and I was just so speechless. He said laughingly, "so I guess I was probably the worst thing that happened to you then." I said foolishly, "no of course. I have seen worst." He just frowned and he said, "Well you will change your words through time."

I really liked that sentence coming out of his mouth; it just makes me feel that he wants us to be together maybe not like what is in my mind. But at least it is nice.

I smiled and then I discovered something in him that I didn't know he had. Craziness appeared all over him. He just stood up and let me sit on the swing and he ran to sit on the other swing and he said, "come on let's do the challenge." I just laughed and I said, "What challenge?" he said, "well we will swing for 10 minutes and then jump and whoever did the longer jump will be the winner." I said proudly, "you mean me." He smiled and he said, "We will see then." And here we go. We kept swinging for exactly 5 minutes but I was way slower than him.

Well actually I was used to excel all these kinds of games but who could blame me, he is just way taller than me, we just resemble the couples of the kissing booth I mean in the height issue.

And finally the alarm on his mobile rang and so we both jumped out of the swing but I was too scared to jump as I felt that I would just hurt myself. So he jumped and he yelled, "You are cheating you just jump now." Then I jumped but unfortunately I just landed hard on the ground and my arm was bruised and I let out a cry. He quickly went to me and he said, "I didn't know that you were that weak." He looked at my arm and he kept examining it as if he was a doctor.

And it was weird, when I looked through his eyes I just forgot all the pain that I felt in my arms.

Then he stood up and stretched his arm for me, so I could get up, and I hold his hand willingly, but maybe I was just so impulsive, so instead of standing in front I fall on his chest. And I listened to the best sound that I have ever heard the sound of his heart beat. And then I guessed that I stayed there awhile and when I realized that I can't do this, I just looked at his face while being close to him as I was. And then his hand reached to hold my arm. And then he touched my wound so I just cried out of pain and jumped away from him. Then he said while running his hand through his hair, "I am sorry." I said, "No it is ok." He said, "Well I will not play with you again." I frowned and I said, "Why?" and then I said quietly, "I love playing with you." I looked at him and hoped he didn't hear it, but I think he did as a smile was formed on his face.

We kept walking together until we reached to my house. We stopped and I said, "thank you for walking me home." He said, "Well it is my pleasure ma'am." And then he whispered in my ear, "Well I could use this excuse to see her."

Well it actually made sad, but I couldn't show my sadness so I just smiled. Then he said to me, "but don't get me wrong, I would never leave you go home alone like this." I said, "No it is ok, I am not a small kid anyway." He said, "Well you are my small kid." I smiled and he left.

I entered my house and I went to my room, after a couple of minutes rose entered and she said worriedly, "are you ok? I feel a lot of pain in my arm."

I really liked that she cared about me, this is the real rose, she is actually not a bad person, and I really hope to know what changed her.

I said, "Well I am fine I just fell and hurt my hand nothing serious." She looked at my arm and she went out of my room and then she returned with the alcohol and cotton to sanitize my wound. She sat next to me and then she helped me clean the wound and she said, "Do you know Noah?" I said surprised, "yes why?" she said, "From where did you know him?" I said, "I just met him by coincidence I mean I don't know how we really met. And you how did you meet him?" she said quiet for a while and then she said, "he used to work at my previous work place and since then we have talking, I mean as friends." I said, "Oh. Good." Rose stopped for a while and she said, "Kayla I am sorry, well I mean I was really so childish I do know how I did that to you."

Look I have just said, yes this is you rose, welcome back.

"I want us to be friends again as we were Kayla, I am sorry that I used to push you away then but now, I feel that I need more than I have ever did." She continued. I said, "can I at least know why did you do like this?" she said, "Well you can say that I was blinded by bad people."

I just didn't want to have a quarrel with my sister anymore. So I hugged her tightly and then I said, "I am happy that you came back rose." She said, "I am happy too." I said, "so what changed you." She smiled shyly and she said, "well you know me too well." I said eagerly, "so what is it?' she said, "Well I like someone but this time it is for real."
