"I cannot believe we just did that in here." I gushed, still unable to wipe the huge grin from my face. It was unbelievable that we were uninterrupted during our sexscapades.

"Why? It's not like it was the first time we've had sex in a public place." He reminded me, raising his eyebrows in rapid succession. I was trying to fix my hair while he stood against the door watching me. "You look great."

Laughing, I took his hand and followed him back out to the crowded club. Ashley and James were at our table. She had the look of concern on her face as we emerged from the hallway. "Shit! I thought you guys left. What happened?" She walked toward me and snarled at Jared. "What did you do?" She searched my face for any sign of distress. "You guys aren't fighting, right?"

Before I could answer, Jared grinned, "No, relax, it was a call from my mom about Emily. Kristen was a little concerned and making sure everything was okay."
I was stunned at the way he composed himself and lied right to Ashley's face without batting and eye. When he was finished talking, he went to get us another bottle of water.

"Oh, she's good though?"Ashley asked, taking a sip of her drink.

"She's fine. His mom is really good with her." Jared returned and I took the water out of his hand, kissing his cheek. I could see the two women from earlier, staring again, only this time I laughed. "Your fangirls are trying to get your attention."

"Are they?" He asked, sitting down and tugging me between his open legs. My back was against his chest and he hugged me tightly. He leaned forward a little more and whispered into my ear. "I've had enough, let's get the hell out of here. Make an excuse so that we can go home, I'm tired."

Frowning, I stared back at him. "What? I thought we were having fun!" Why all of a sudden did he want to leave? The place wasn't overly crowded and we were with friends. It's not like we got out often and I was very relaxed, not a sign of tension in my entire body.

Ashley was feeling no pain, downing another shot. "I'm so glad that the two of you have been getting along better Jared. It's good to see her with a smile on her face when you're near. It was pretty damn rough for a while."

"Yeah, don't I know it." Jared told her, placing his arm over my shoulder. I turned around to face him and he pulled me in for a big kiss. I was standing between his legs and felt his arms slide tighter around me, pulling me snug against him. I started to pull away, but he leaned forward to kiss the back of my neck. I had no idea what came over him all of a sudden. He's never been overly affectionate in public.

His attention seemed to be focused on someone across the room and it all made sense suddenly when I turned to see who it was. Matt was standing there talking to a group of people. Instantly I felt a little uncomfortable, but it was Jared who appeared insecure this time.
