|"Misunderstanding"|

"How's school going on??" mom started the conversation

"it's fine" I replied

We both headed to a cafe and she bought me my favorite cake and drink

"You still know what I like" I said

"Why would I forget about that? You're my son" she smile

"Because you left us" I immediately said as I look away

"........Tae, I know you're mad at me but please let me explain everything" she said as she touch my hands

"Why? Why did you do that?" I asked her as my hands turned into fist

"Your Dad and I were just strangers that our parents wants us to get married for business, at first.....I fall inlove with your Dad because he's so smart, cheerful, and a good looking man but then days have been past.....I'm starting to lose hope and totally give up when I gave birth to you, at first I talked about this with your dad.... But he doesn't want to listen.... that's why I open up with somebody else....... I was blinded with love that I.....totally left and forgot about you......" she explained as she was tearing up infront of me

"It must have been hard" I said as My hands slowly pulling away and stood up

"Taehyung?....." she called me

"But it must be easy to left and forget about me" I stare at her blankly

"Where are you going?" she asked me

"Home" I replied as I walked away

"Both you and your dad doesn't listen...." she sighed

Next day~

Minjae's POV

I was walking in the hallway until someone held my wrist tightly as pulled me inside a room

"Yah! Who are you??!" I shouted

She cover my mouth and said "SHHH! it's me joy, calm down okay?" as she pulled away and sighed

We are at the science lab and we both seated in one of the chairs there

"What do you want to talk about???" I asked her

"You still know what our bet right?" she reminds me

"oh..... That.... Joy I-" she cut me off

"You still have 2 months left before you accomplish that" she suddenly said

"Joy, I know that.... I have to  make tae fall in love with me before graduation in order to get that money from you, I have something to tell you" I nervously said as I look down

"What is it?" Joy asked as she slowly reached me

".....Well I-" I was stop by taehyung's Ex girlfriend Yeri

"Look what I got here???" she smirked as she face her phone to us

"She recorded our conversation!" Joy gasped

"Yeri.... What are you doing here?? Why did record it?" I asked her

"Well..... Simply because I don't want you to be Tae's girlfriend, it should be me.... And~ I was planning this a long, long, time after he dumped me infront of everyone..... I talked to Taehyung about this and I'M SURE he will hate you....... Forever" she whispered in my ears the last words she say before she walked away in the room leaving me and joy speechless

"That bitched!" Joy said but I immediately stop her from going after Yeri

".........J-joy..... As I was saying a.......while ago... I want to stop this, this bet that we have..." I said as I started to tear up

"Why? I thought you want this?" she asked me

"I want to stop this thing! Because I already fall in love with him!" I lool at her as I finally cried

"Mi-minjae... " she said

"At first.... It was okay for me..... But as time goes by, I got to know him better, he's really kind, he was like that because of his mom" I explained

".....then how about the money? Do you still want that?" she asked

"No, I will try to talked to my brother maybe he will understand" I said as I wiped my tears

"Then let's go, let's stop her and tell Taehyung the truth" Joy smiled

Taehyung's POV

"Is that true??" I asked Yeri

"Of course babe! You were just a toy to her all this time!" Yeri said as she touch my hands

The door went open revealing Joy and..... Minjae

".....Taehyung..... I can explain" Minjae said as she slowly walk towards me

"So.......I was just a bet?"
