as i had mentioned, this story was heavily inspired by certain episodes of a k variety show called 2days and 1night and if any of you wanted to watch the episodes, just search it up on youtube: [2days and 1night in panmunjeom]

^ it was when the casts of the show visited the dmz—which is very hard to enter—and got a look in north korea, technically but not literally stepped over the border, got the opportunity to raise the biggest south korean flag,

and visited an old village that was by the border where only few families live (outsiders can only visit the place, not live on the village itself) and it was revealed that the children of that village wanted to be friends with some north korean kids from the other side of the border, and they were sad bcs they couldn't get to play with them.

so yeah in short, this was inspired by a true story
