Michael.
I get more and more nervous as the day goes on.
2 days 3 hours and 27 minutes until Luke will move in with me.
Damn, just thinking about it, about seeing him everyday, makes my insides explode. I find a smile creep onto my face as I think about what he looks like in the morning, his hair messy, his eyes still laced with sleep...
Don't wanna be an American Idiot!
My ring tone startles me, ripping my thoughts of Luke away. My heart slightly sinks, knowing that Luke isn't calling me, because well he can't. Duh. I just answer the phone without looking to see who was calling.
"Hello?" I boredly ask.
"Hey mate whats up?" an overly cheery voice replies.
"Same old Cal, why are you so happy?" I ask questionably, I mean Calum was always happy, but he sounded...different.
"Well I actually started dating this girl..." he trails off. I could practically hear him blushing.
"Really? Whats the lucky ladies name?" I joke. Calum just nervously laughs.
"Uh, her name is Kat."
"Wait what?"
"Y'know, like the animal? Only she spells it differently, anyway, I wanted to know if you wanted to go on kind of a double date with us?" I am still speechless about what I just heard. My best friend is dating Kat, the girl I made cry in the middle of a library.
"Uh, a double date?" nervousness flooding into my words.
"Well you would obviously take your new boyfriend." Cal taunts. "Lukey! I still haven't gotten to meet this kid. So I thought this would be perfect!" he exclaims.
"Calum, we aren't dating, I don't even know if he likes me..."
"Dude, he agreed to move in with you, I think he likes you more than you think."
"Fine." I groan loudly, "But don't call this a date in front of him okay? I don't wan to freak him out or anything."
"Yeah, yeah. Is Saturday good?" he asks. That's the day after Luke moves in with me. Oh god, here comes that warm feeling again.
"Uh, yeah, Saturdays perfect."
"Great, I'll text you later. See ya."
"Bye."
I hang up and begin to pick up around my filthy apartment. Empty pizza boxes and wrappers, empty beer bottles scattered everywhere. This would not impress Luke. I need to start cleaning so he doesn't think I am completely disgusting.
The thought of him being here, makes my hands shake and I nearly drop a few bottles. The ding of my doorbell startles me. Who the hell could be here this late? It's nearly 11.
I dispose of the contents in my hands quickly then shuffle to the door pulling it open without a second thought. My eyes are met by a beautifully sad sight. He stands there with tears running down his flawless skin, the flesh around his eyes are red and swollen and his blue eyes seem duller, sadder.
"Luke?"
