I was touched by the mans repetition of "Thank yous."After an hour, we gathered about 5 new customers. I felt slightly proud of myself. I felt like a business woman—although I didn't have a diploma.
The mystery guy seemed thoroughly happy with me as well.
We went and got coffee and such at Starbucks and sat on the patio.

"You're a natural," he told me before he sipped his iced coffee. He must have been crazy to be drinking something of that nature in the weather we were in.
"Think so?" I perked an eyebrow and dipped my warm Frappuccino.
"Yeah, totally." He set his drink down, "Like, you're convincing and persuading and—"
"Honest, trustworthy—everything you're not?"
He choked up slightly, "Excuse me?"
"If you were any of those things this business wouldn't be going down the toilet."

"Street Chick, you don't know what you're talking about." He tried to sound as nice as he could, but I could still here the harshness in his voice.
"No, I do. I may not have grown up in the business stuff. But I do know a solid foundation in anything is honesty and trust. Without those two things, everything will fall apart," I took a deep breath, "You have motivation, and love for the company, but as I said—-if you don't have trust and honesty within the company and don't portray the company as so—its a lost cause and you're just asking for failure."

He was speechless and aggravated. I hoped I made sense. I regretted spouting off after the words left my lips.
He stayed silent for the longest of time and I felt a lot of tension. We soon finished our drinks and we left.

Once we arrived at his house, he yawned and closed the door behind us.
He told me goodnight and headed straight
to his room. I felt as if I Made him furious. And I think I might had done so.
