The scene of Elliot chuckling, quite genuinely, made Harriet feel much calmer. If his personality was like this all the time, he would be the perfect man.

His next words, however, sent chills down Harriet's spine.

"What? You... what do you mean? I do not see Sofie anywhere."

Elliot's eyes turned serious as he maintained his slight smile. "You're even speaking in third person now?"

"You are saying... that I am Sofie?" Harriet gulped as the thought came across her mind.

Indeed, everything does make sense if I was Sofie.

I became a bit taller.

My voice sounds just like hers.

I was holding a love potion glass bottle just before this.

But... with all things considered, becoming Sofie was even more impossible than all of this just being a crazy coincidence!

Elliot saw her analyzing expression, and saw that she was serious. What happened to her? Has she gone mad?

His smile went as soon as it came.

The aura of arrogance exuded from him once more. He entered the room and closed the door, leaving Harriet outside.

Harriet thought for a few moments more. If I really became Sofie, does that mean that I killed myself? Is that what happened?

A few moments later, he opened the door again, dragging Harriet, or "Sofie" with him.

Inside the room was a woman. She looked about nineteen years old, and was quite innocent.

Her beauty was unparalleled, even when compared to Sofie. Her smooth white skin, combined with her dark eyes and her supple lips, made her the most beautiful woman Elliot had seen up to now.

The woman had puffy eyes and had a robe on. However, her collarbone and arms were exposed, revealing the several blue bruises on her skin.

"So... Sofie?" The woman saw Harriet and looked at her with a pitiable look in her eyes.

Seeing this, Harriet was not moved. She did not feel the need to help this girl one bit. Not because she lacked empathy, but because her mind was preoccupied thinking of something else.

It was the fact that... the woman was Harriet herself!

Her face was smooth, the absence of the burn indicated to "Sofie" what happened.

She continued looking around the room.

There was a wooden artifact on the desk. A chandelier hung from the ceiling. Two swords were crossed on the wall.

This... isn't this Elliot's past room?

The artifact had been disposed of when Sofie broke it and blamed it on Harriet.

The chandelier was removed when it fell while Elliot was underneath.

The swords were removed when Elliot found one missing, and Sofie had scar marks all over her body.

This basically confirms it...
I have traveled through time, back to the past!

That woman over there is me!

This man beside me is Elliot, who does not resent me that much yet!

And the woman whose body I am residing in is that scheming vixen's, Sofie!

Realizing this, Harriet became determined to make her past life better... and live her current life serving as her own best friend!
