Jacob P.O.V

Me- yea man

??- are you sure she's dead

Me- yea, I'm positive

??- someone is going to stop by at your house to give you the money

Me- Ight man, bye

I tossed my phone on the livingroom table and sat down on the couch

"I can't believe I did that" I said sighing

What if I go to jail, or Jada and them find out that I killed Justice. So many thoughts where running threw my head it felt like I was going to explode. I just killed someone over money.

"Once I have the money I'm leaving town" I said sighing

Then I heard baby cries. I walked in my room and picked up Talaya and rocked her to sleep

La'Nya P.O.V

I had just got done doing the dishes so I walked in my room and watched some TV.

"Mommy" nyny said running in my room

"Yes baby" I ask

"Someone knocking on the door" she said

I got up off my bed

"Okay, let's go see who it is" I said grabbing her hand

I walked in the livingroom and looked in the peephole and it was the police

"Why they here, I didn't do anything wrong today" I asked myself scared ass hell

I opened the door looking confused

"Can I help you officers" I asked the two men

"Are you La'Nya Brown" the dark skin one ask

"Yes" I said looking at them confused

The light skin one sighed

"Is your mother Justice Brown" the light skin one ask

"Yea, why" I ask confused

"I'm so sorry La'Nya but your mother has been murdered a hour ago" he said

It felt like I was being stabbed in the chest five times

"W-what are you talking about?. I j-just seen my mama earlier today, this can't be true" I asked while sniffing

"I'm so sorry, If you plan on doing a funeral, you can go by the hospital and sighed of the papers and see her" The Darkskin one said

I wiped my tears and nodded

"Wait, what about my little sister" I ask sniffing

They looked confused

"Who" they asked at the same time

"My baby sister Talaya miller, she was with my mom" I said raising up my eyebrows

"There was no baby in the house" the light skin one said

"Then the killer must've took her, please look for my sister" I said crying

They nodded their heads and walked away while I closed the door

"Grandma dead" Nyny asked looking sad

"Yes baby" I said wiping my face again

She let go of my hand and ran to her room and closed the door

I cried again and went to my room.

"Why Ny'Airah in her room crying, an why it look like you crying too" Tj ask confused and worried

"Mama was murdered a hour ago" I said

He looked at me with teary eyes

"What" he asked sniffing

"And the killer took Talaya" I said crying harder

He walked over to me and hugged me while crying

Kaylen P.O.V

It was break time right now and I decided to
watch TV. I put it on the news and Justice face was on the screen so I turned the volume up

"38 year old Justice Brown was murdered at her home today. The neighbors said they heard gunshots and walked out their homes and found Justice in a puddle of blood. Her daughter La'Nya brown said she had a baby with her but the baby wasn't in the house. So please be on the look out for a 5 month old baby Name Talaya Miller" the news reporter said then put a picture of Talaya

I looked over at Treyvon and he seemed unbothered

"There was surveillance cameras at the neighbors homes, it showes that a man about 6'1 with all black clothes on have a tattoo on his right hand. It's a rose with a J in the middle" the news reporter said

I walked over to Treyvon and whispered in his ear

"You got something to do with this" I ask

"Yea, I told you I was gonna get somebody for her snitching ass" he said

"What about your baby" I asked

"She will be fine" he said

I shook my head. Damn, I wonder how La'Nya taking this right now
