Katies POV
No! This can't be with his dreamy blue eyes and that mop of..... damn it it can be!! I got very frustrated and snuck out of the infirmary to the strawberry hills. Ooohhh that hurts!! I looked down at my wound and lifted the bandage a bit. Oh dear gods that is gross. i thought. The cut in it had made the outside of it all purple and green like a puke looking bruise had formed. Whenever i moved it, it hurted like hell. I slowly made my way concentrating on anything else but throwing up. Finally when i reached the top i slowly collapsed on the plants using my only strength left to cushion me. Oof! I was lying down peacefully until i heard a voice
"Katie kat are you alright?" My heart soared when he asked. Wait no Katie it DIDN'T. But it was sweet to know that he cared.
" Yes i'm fine Travis, how bout you?"
" Oh I'm fine just a bruise but the new camper is safe and turns out she's a daughter of Demeter so she's your sister!"
Normally i would be overjoyed to hear that i have a new sibling but i was a bit hurt on how Travis exclaimed news about her and that he sounded really excited that he's my sister. Wait... no Katie, your ridiculous, of course not...
" That means you can date her i suppose?" i snapped actually surprised how much bitterness i put in my words .I hoped Travis would just laugh it off but instead the jerk put on a smile and said-
"How'd you guess so well? Well i guess all this time we've spend has really paid off huh!"
No I thought it really hasn't if you can't realise that i like you, i thought tears slipping down my face..
