I know there is a creature inside,
Lurking around my mind.
Those I know call it darkness,
And believe it is evil and heartless.
They don't know that this darkness,
Made my light bright and relentless.
It took the bitter pieces,
And made them whole and decent.
It is what made my sanity, madness.
It is why I live in kindness.
