I sat snuggled up to Michael as we all watched The Avengers. Michael and Luke picked it out to prove to us that The Avengers are better than the Justice League. I had my feet propped up on Ashton with my head resting on Michael's chest. Calum was sitting on Luke's lap and we were eating Luke's burnt popcorn. Michael was staring at me more than the telly. He started to play with my hair. I looked up at him and kissed him on the cheek. Michael leaned down and whispered into my ear.

"Do you want to go on an adventure?" he asked

"Always." I smiled.

We told the guys not to wait up and then Michael got into his car and we played the radio. 'More Than Words" started to play. I sang along.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked.

"I'm not quite sure, that's what makes this an adventure." he smirked. His raspy voice sending shivers up my spine.

We stopped at a lake. Michael pulled me out of the car and we ran to to the cool water. He jumped in, dragging me down with him. We went up for hair and he lifted me up and twirled me around. We stood in the middle of the lake for a while, just staring at each other. His blonde and black hair made him look like such a tough guy, but he was so fragile. I was scared I would break him.

"Michael," I started, but before i knew it, his lips crashed onto mine. His lips were soft and warm,  despite the fact that we were standing in a lake in the middle of the night. His forehead rested on mine and we looked into each other's eyes. His eyes were dark and lonely. I ran my fingers through his hair.

"I love you." he said into my ear seductively.

"I...I.. Michael, I'm not 18 yet." I stuttered

"Don't worry, I'm not asking for that." he laughed

"I'm cold." I said, changing the topic. He carried me out of the lake, never breaking our gaze. Michael layed me down onto the cool grass and ran back to the truck. I looked back at him. At first I thought he was leaving me, but then he bolting back with a fleece blanket. He wrapped it around me, and sat down, placing his arm around me.

"Tell me your story." he said.

"What story?" I asked.

"Your life story, about your family, your dad, everything. You can trust me." he said. I did. I did trust him, but I had never told anyone about myself, about my dad, about my mom being sent away. Michael could sense me hesitating. He took his arm off from my should and use both hand to grab my one hand. If I didn't want to tell Michael, then would I ever tell anyone?

"Well, I really don't have a family, or if I do, it's quite broken. My mom was sent to jail when I was fourteen. They had found illegal drugs in the house and traced it back to her. I don't know how, because I was the one doing them. I was left with my dad. My dad was a good man, but he was nothing without my mom, so he turned to alcohol. Some days my dad is really nice and we watch movies and stuff. Other days, he comes home extremely drunk. He doesn't usually hurt me. He's a really good man. I kept doing drugs. Sometimes my dad and I would have a beer or three. My dad got into a car crash one night and almost didn't make it back. That's when I quit the drugs and made myself get better." I vented.

"Carter, drugs are so dangerous. I am so happy quit them." Michael said "And please don't ever feel like you don't have a family. You have me, you have the guys, you have Luke's banana with a face, don't ever feel alone, okay?" Michael told me. Tears welled up in my eyes, but I refused to let them out. Michael kissed my cheek and I rested my head on his shoulders.

"Wanna take the long way home?" he asked me. I nodded.
