School was like every other school lunch, homework, and friends. My closest friend was Ashley. She has long blonde hair that was wavy she always knew how to cheer me up. She loves shopping and is fancy she the greatest friend I ever had. "Hey what's wrong?" She asks

"Oh nothing." I answer plainly. I didn't feel like talking at the moment. I look at her and she looks at me. When I turn back she's still staring at me. "Don't you dare think I don't know for a second I do not know you! What's wrong?" she asks one more time. "Fine I'll tell you, but let's go somewhere more quite." I lead her to the back of the school. There's very few kids that come over there. "My mother died." I say quickly. "Oh, honey! I'm so sorry!" She says louder then I would like. I don't like attention. "Shhh. And it got worst. My dad left me a note saying "Can't take it anymore. Sorry." So I have to call my brother after school and have him pick me up." I got more upset then I usually do.

"You shouldn't have to go through these things. You should have a normal life. I'm so sorry." She holds my hands in front and looks at me straight in my eyes.

"Why? Why does this have to happen to me?" I ask. She doesn't answer for a few seconds. "Destiny is a funny thing." She always know what to say.
