Meanwhile all around the planet
Weird things happened to what were planted
Some trees just came alive
You'd barely believe it if you saw it with your eyes
"Hi" one said "My name is Stan,
I'm a tree, not a man
Yes, yes, a truffula tree
Except i'm sentient and free"
The people were quite afraid of Stan
So he left for a friendlier land
On his travels he came across an old house
He sneaked on in quieter than a mouse
There he saw the Lorax and Once-ler
Asleep in their beds, he did a doubletake once more
It was them, surely it was
They'd love Stan, since nobody else does
The next morning the Lorax and Once-ler awoke
The sentient tree they went and poke
The tree woke up and gave the Lorax a hug
"You spoke for me when I lacked life and lung"
I thank you so much, you deserve all my love
The world was getting quite wacky
These aliens and their pollutants were quite tacky
The Lorax knew this must stop soon
Before all these trees died or became loons
In the robot the Lorax climbed in
The fight for a clean earth he was ready to begin
When he went out he was feeling such fright
The world was nearly dead and it's only been one night
The Lorax called out "Get down here aliens"
And down they came but something happened then
An alien came out but it was no alien at all
But a human like one you'd find at the mall
The Lorax asked "Why do you want all life to end?"
They said "I hate the trees, i'm edgy and eleven
I like the world dark and dreary, like a bottomless hole
Cause it's the same as my edgy soul"
The human went back into their ship
And set the pollutant dial full blast like it was cool and hip
Everything would die in a few seconds
The Lorax needed to fight he reckon
So with a mighty beam of solar energy
He fired at the human, the one who was edgy
But the kid fired back a second before
And the Lorax got hit, his robot no more
