I surprisingly have to pee really bad. I take both the tests and set them on the sink both boxes say to wait five minutes. I set the timer on my phone and sit on the side of the bathtub and wait. My phone beeps and I get up slowly to look at the two sticks that will decide my future.
I look at both sticks and see two little plus signs. I look at the boxes to make sure what im seeing is right. I start to cry. My whole frame is shaking as I sob taking in huge breathes. This can't happen!!
As if Jake has some Maggie pain radar he's on the other side of the door.
"Mags are you alright in there."
No i'm not alright and at the sound of Jake's voice I start to sob even harder. I fall to the ground as my body shakes.
"Mags whats going on? let me in."
I can't even think about opening the door to let him in i'm pregnant. I'm going to have a baby at eighteen. What if Jake doesn't want me anymore.
"Maggie let me in." The door handle is going crazy from Jake trying to get in. I crawl over and let him in and i'm immediately in his arms.
I let my body go limp and he's holding me trying to soothe me.
"Shh Mags it's alright."
I shake my head. Getting control over myself now that Jake's here. He waits until i'm calm again until asking me what happened.
"Whats wrong?"
I sigh. "I'm pregnant." I whisper.
His arms freeze around me for a second.
"What? Are you sure?"
"Yeah I went to the convenient store around the corner while you were asleep and got two of those sticks. They're over there." I point to the sink.
Jake pulls us up and drags me over to the sink where I stare down and see those little plus signs.
"Are you sure you read the instructions right?"
I nod my head.
"Shouldn't we get this double checked by a doctor or something."
"I guess."
I hand him my cell phone and we stand in the bathroom his arms stiffly around me as he makes the doctors appointment.

The next hour goes somewhat in a blur Jake drove me to the doctor's office and insisted on being in there with me as they did the tests and now were waiting for the doctor to come back with the results.
Jake was in the only chair in the room while the doctor was in here but after he left we maneuvered so he was sitting on the bed and I was nestled in his lap. He was running his fingers through my hair and I had my head hidden inside his shoulder and neck.
The doctor walks in and Jake looks up his hair freezing in my hair and I close my eyes listening to Jake's breathing.
"Your two weeks pregnant."
I look up. two weeks? I count back in my head when the first time me and Jake made love. Two weeks ago. He got me pregnant the first time? But we used protection. It must have broken.
Jake looks down at my stomach and puts a protective hand over it as a smile breaks out over his face. I look at him confused.
The doctor congratulates us and walks out of the room after saying a whole bunch of stuff I didn't really listen too though I guess I should have. Jake listened though so it'll be fine.
When it's just me and Jake in the room he smiles down at me again looking into my eyes. His hand still on my stomach.
"We're having a baby."
"Your happy?" I ask confused.
"Of course i'm happy. Mags we're having a baby."
I shake my head. "Jake were only eighteen." I stand up and walk away from him and then turn around. "We have college in less then three months. How am I supposed to go to college and have a baby?"
"Mags your not having it alone I'll be there with you every step of the way."
"We're eighteen." Jake has jumped off the bed by that point and has my face between his hands.
"Maggie we were gunna have a big family anyways remember? We'll just start sooner then we planned."
A few tears escape from the corners of my eyes and I nod my head. He pulls me close and I fit in his arms perfectly.
We sign out and then he brings me back to his house.
He carries me into the house and up the stairs. He carefully lays me down on the bed and takes off my clothes for the second time that day. He's careful with me like I might break at any second.
"I wanna make love to you with nothing between us." He whispers in a husky voice.
I nod my head as he positions his naked body above mine.
"I love you Mags."
"I love you too."

Later Jake orders Chinese food for us. We end up sprawled across the living room carpet eating from the cartons with chop sticks.
We had brought some to both of his parents in their studies.
"Jake I want to make sure Max won't come after me before this baby is born."
He nods his head.
"My dad is getting the last of the evidence together. He said he should be ready in the next couple of days to take it down to the police station."
"You think it will work?" I say looking at my noodles.
"Absolutely. don't think about it. It will all work out."
"Yeah your right."
We eat in silence for a couple of seconds.
"When should we tell everyone?"
I sigh. "Tomorrow night? We'll ask everyone to come over for dinner?"
"Alright."
We clean up all the food when were done putting the left overs in the fridge.
We end up putting in a movie and about halfway through I fall asleep in Jakes lap thinking about this baby and what it means for me and Jake who are now going to be considered parents.
