High above cities of twisted metal spires, lies the Shell of the World. In the Shell, people live and protect the fragile planet below from extraplanar harm. Here, a young girl, Yona, brought about the destruction of her world and race.
Yona was an ingenious child, and at first only wished to help her people prosper. But she discovered that, unlike what she was told, her people did not protect. They killed. So, she built in secret a Machine that would destroy the Shell to protect the world below. But it malfunctioned.
And all perished.
