AN: I wrote this story in December 2018, it's now 2022 and i wrote this very young so there is a lot of mistakes i've noticed and things i don't like so i am going to go back and change a few things. I hope you like my story and like i said i actually made this when i was very young so please beware of that and try to be nice as i'm not going to change the whole thing <3

JUNE 20TH 2008

7 year old Cheryls POV:

I brushed my long ginger locks before sliding on my favourite bright red dress (use your imagination) and placing my shiny red flat shoes on which had little red bows on the front. I skipped down the hall while humming a joyful tune and met my parents in the kitchen.

"Hello mummy, daddy, I was wondering if I could go to the park this noon?" I said cheerfully with a smile. My father peered over his news paper and smiled as he took a sip of his coffee allowing my mother to answer.

My mother placed her slice of toast and egg down and answered "of course hunny, but don't be home late! Jason has a football game at 5pm" she finished with a smile.

"Thanks mumsie, bye now!" I said while waving good bye and closing the door behind me. I grabbed my red bike with cherries on and drove down to the nearest park where i asked my friend Veronica to meet me. When I arrived I placed my bike down and began searching the play ground for my friend.

I was playing on the see-saw and this young girl with chocolate coloured hair and gorgeous coffee coloured eyes made her way over to me and my friend veronica. I stop playing on the see-saw with the raven headed girl that went to my school and stared into the her coffee coloured eyes "hello, are you new around here? I've never seen you before." I said with a welcoming smile.

"Uhm, hey... yes I'm new and I just wanted to make some new friends, can we be friends?" She said sweetly while holding her right arm with her left hand (No shit 🙄😂) and biting her lower lip nervously

"Of course, we dont mind having a new friend. Right veronica?" I said smiling once more and looking over to veronica who was in her own world playing puppets with her own hands. I smiled and looked back towards the taller girl in front of me "of course we can add another member" I impersonated veronica

The taller girl found it funny and laughed at me, I'm glad she had a sense of humour. After a while we began talking and we went on a little walk while I was giving her a little tour of the area around us, mainly pointing to places as mother didn't let me into some parts of town.

We sat down on a little log for a break and I asked the question that should have been asked at the start of the conversation "hey, you know what? We haven't exchanged names yet." I said confidently and she smiled "what's yours?" I said raising an eyebrow

"My name is Toni Topaz" she smiled "What about you?" She said while giving me a welcoming smile

"My name is Cheryl, Cheryl blossom" I smiled while shaking her hand. We talked for a few more minutes that turned into hours and before I knew it we had to part ways I had to go to my brothers foot ball game.
