From the Corners of the Dark

From the corners of the dark
From the chambers forgotten within the past
From the fears rooted deep inside
From the confusions unresolved in the plight

Arising from situations undesirable
From hopes and expectations unreliable
It comes slowly, making steps slow and steady
To take control over you, even when you are not ready

What does one call such state of affairs
Confusion? Depression or psychological dismay?
Is the darkness overshadowing the bright?
Or is this beginning of a new plight?

Hey everyone! What's your take on this one? I will be back with positive poems from now. One poem every week.
