We're making palaces out of doorsteps
Hurricanes out of breezeways
Because everything seems bolder
Through this twisted kaleidoscope
Your dissociated face
Forms stars and heart-shaped eyes
Your Cupid's bow
Shooting arrows
Between my lips
As ours collide
Through my lungs
As you're my air
To my heart
As it may beat
In rhythm
With our tongues
And there's something
About you
That's so
Intoxicating
For I've never held
Your face with mine
I've never felt
Your hair in my hands
But
Somehow
I know you
like we've been here before
Or perhaps
That's just my dream
As you shove it out the door.
